Arrived here to stay 2 nights following rave reviews. Showers are disgraceful. Dirty, not draining, didn't have a door handle so I was locked in and couldn't get out and had to scream for my partner to rescue me. The floor is sodden and unsafe. Visiting from Australia and have NEVER struck anything like this ever in all my years of travelling. Tried to contact someone..'the owners might be here tomorrow'. Not OK at all!! Visited the park with a view to moving our caravan from it's current location, really liked the park, its located close to the M74. Spacious and well laid out. Some new plots under construction however there wasn't a suitable plot for the size of our caravan. We have used the many times and always found to be very welcoming and friendly. The facilities in all aspects are good. There are many walks as the is very pet friendly. The local village has facilities and a lovely pub that serves good food. Out stays are always part of our journey between England and Scotland. I would always recommend the for a longer or shorter stay for whatever your needs are. Thank You Peter & Anna Hodgkinson. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Cressfield! The entire was beautifully maintained, with spotless surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The natural beauty around the area was just stunning – perfect for a relaxing getaway. What truly made our stay memorable was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, scenic, and friendly motorhome stay. We’ll definitely be back. New owners!! They have made substantial improvements in all aspects; this is now a secure due to automatic wrought iron security gates, new road surfaces laid & more in progress, street lights and much more!
