Se vieni in camper: Posto tranquillo e comodo per van e camper entro i 7 metri. Spiagge bellissime, enormi in continua mutazione causa maree. Highly recommended. Only downside - no dogs are allowed on the beach or in the gardens or pathway. (sad dog and sad owner) Great! One of the nicest beach I’ve seen in the Basque Country, huge bay (depending on the sea level) and chill ambient Lugar en la biosfera del urdarbai tiene playa, naturaleza y tranquilidad. Si buscáis ruido y masificación de bares y hoteles no ir I think this is one of the coolest little spots in the North of Spain. It has so much space/sand in which to lay out. It has a cool little bar, an ice cream shop, a couple of stores that sell T-shirts and stuff. Their is a restaurant near by and it just has a chill vibe. It's one of the only beaches between Gernika and Bakio that has enough sand to lay out comfortably. Gernika obviously doesn't have a beach but is famous for the bombing it received from the Germans. A bombing that was approved by it's dictator at the time Generalisimo Franco. And since many people visit Gernika due to its historical significance and Pablo Picasso's representative painting of the bombing, Playa San Antonio can be a place to visit afterwards. Playa San Antonio is also often overlooked by Tourist/surfers that favor Mundaka or Bakio where the surf is better. It's a beautiful area with lots of biking trails/paths near by if you are up for some biking. Playa bastante grande. Hacia la zona de la ermita hay un sendero muy chulo hasta la estación de tren de Itsasbegi-Busturia. Beautiful, tranquil beach with excellent calm waters for safe swimming. Few comments here mentioning dogs being forbidden, perhaps only during the busiest summer months. We visited in September with our dogs who were welcomed by the life guards, met a lot of locals walking dogs on the beach too.
