Then we had a display after and the guests got to fly and get some great pics. Would thoroughly recommend. Following the wedding my parents visited the centre for a half day and loved it. Three generations had an informative with both verbal story telling and antics between him and his (feather variety i hasten to add)the adults as well as the weans had just the bestest having the fly to them and walking them. Gary made sure to include the kiddo throughout the whole and was genuinely such a joy to be around. The love and care he has for his animals is very clear. And we experienced much more than we imagined we would for the price! Definitely could be charging more. His home and grounds are impeccable and we have not stopped talking about our there. Gary is so knowledgeable and a lovely person who made me feel at ease immediately. I would say it was one of the best times I have had and I would highly recommend anyone to book this unique experience. I feel quite bereft leaving such fabulous and if I lived nearer I feel I would be volunteering to help out, loved it so much. Bird house Airbnb at the Cumberland Bird of Prey Centre was fantastic. Very clean. Owner was very polite and helpful. Lots of extras at the air bnb which isn’t listed when booking. There’s a full kitchen and all utensils needed for a long or short stay. Washing machine. The fire is amazing. Hot tub was very hot. Worth a visit, even if you don’t go for a walk around the centre to see all the birds. What a fantastic hour with Gary and his “flock”!
