The course is in pristine the greens are excellent. The 1st and 18th are my favourite both going over the burn .The par 3 1st has to be treated with respect with water a third of way . The 18th looks over glencoarse from the Top of the corse looking at the green from Tee at the burn half way . Do you go for it with Driver or lay up . This course has many holes and par 3s over water to challenge you . Green fees very competitive and membership good price Spring is fantastic time to play course is pristine. Really challenging course. condition. Nice clubhouse and staff. Good food and drink. This course falls into the Hidden Gem category. Full of interesting long par 3s and par 4s. Greens were in immaculate and the course is beautiful. Pro shop was well stocked and friendly welcome. The staff in the Clubhouse were also very friendly and helpful and the post round food was great! 10/10 and will be back. Thanks again 👍🏼 We played as a four ball in the afternoon, there were a number of single players whom we allowed to play through, so it wasn't the fastest round ever! The layout is very interesting and it was a very enjoyable challenge. We had a very warm welcome from Clubhouse to Pro Shop to around the course. Cracking course , lovely club house, well stocked pro shop, visit highly recommended. Course is stunning and in condition, the green keepers have done an amazing job, people are very friendly especially the club pro Cliffe Jones he made me feel very welcome, always smiling with banter as well as a well stocked pro shop, top guy, highly recommended a visit. Glencorse was the place I started to play golf back in 1996. Today I have returned for the first time in 27 years, and may I say what a beautifully stunning course. Well maintained and looked after, complements to the green staff. Big thank you to the Pro and the bar staff for a very warm welcome. Enjoyed it so much, planning my return and spreading the word. Thank you again and I will see you again soon. H Cliffe is amazing! We were absolute beginners when visited the golf club and he was extremely helpful and friendly. The course is very well kept, organised, and has awesome views! Unbelievable day at glencorse in a 4 ball with some friends. First time playing the course and for winter it was in incredible condition. One temp on 2. Seems short at the outset but such a mix of holes, some really beautiful. Cliffe the pro is an absolute gent, pro shop too. Members all lovely. Would play again in a heart beat. Had our outing there 25th June 2023. Very warm welcome from the moment we arrived and this theme continued throughout our day. Food was excellent and nothing was any trouble what we asked for we got! Great course in excellent not the longest with 8 par 3s but still a challenge, maybe a wee bit hilly for those not so able, but plenty of buggies for hire. We will definitely return in the future.
