Our curries were tasty. My wife got the pasanda and she rated it highly and my rogan Josh was also enjoyable. Both were flavourful and good portion. We got puri for starters but this wasn’t quite as advertised as it was meant to come with puffed fried bread but as per picture it was more like a wrap which didn’t taste all that great. The puri itself was disappointing as well. The outer shell was squeaky and lacking any crisp. The flavour was okay. The garlic naan we got as a side was fine. Overall, a decent Indian with good curries but don’t expect awesome sides/starters. We were also surprised at the bill. 40 odd £ for a takeaway for 2. Maybe that’s normal these days with the COL going up. What a great experience with our takeout! The owner was extremely nice, and our food was excellent. The portions are really generous, and the spice level was just perfect. My wife likes zero spice, and I asked for just a bit on mine. Both were just perfect. We will be coming to the area again from Texas in the future and will definitely add this spot to our must eat list! It is our first ordering from here, and our meal was beautiful. The ordering process was very easy online, and the delivery was quick. We ordered a Lamb Jalfrezi and a Madras. Both dishes had a good amount of meat, and both the and lamb tasted fresh and tender. The sauces were also very flavoursome with just the right amount of heat. We ordered a selection of sides, (rice, naans, poppadoms, chips, and dips), and they all complimented the meal very well. I will be recommending to others, and will definitely again. Tried biryani and sabzi biryani they are worth the price, the food reminds me of my home and the owner shaheen is fantastic with service!! Our usual includes the Lamb Rogan Josh, Tikka Korma, Butter Chicken, along with pilau rice, mushroom rice, paratha, garlic naan, and of course, some poppadoms – and every item hits the mark.
