Ordered and paid for fish, small and mushy peas... Took the order...ten miles down the road and found only and peas! I understand it was probably an error...but disappointing Tasty, well cooked and chips. Many other options too on an extensive menu. Quick and friendly service. Good value for money. First time in the chippy. Ordered a shish kebab and a small and chips. The Kebab was nice but small though.. the was so dry it was inedible(felt like it was yesterday’s fish) certainly not fresh today. When I called I was offered a new and but I would have to go and get it! Not very impressed as they have a delivery driver they could have sent one by car. I don’t live that close to the chippy.. doubt I will be returning!! Was here a couple of months ago and was disappointed thought maybe it was a bad night or something went back again tonight and was totally disappointed ordered and noticed everything I'd asked for was already in the hot plate was made to wait for the stuff for the guy on the fryer to put the fresh stuff in the hot plate he then felt the stuff to see what was hotter and then gave me the old stuff that had been there since before I went in the was burnt and contained more battered than the were look warm and like shrapnel very tasteless will not be back I used to go here regularly on my way home for visiting a family member and loved it but not now don't know if it's changed hands or something but defo went down hill badly Second time that we have come out to Di Giorgios. This has turned into our absolute favorite chippy. The price is great and food is amazing. We ordered 2 burgers, a and chips, the fried sausage dinner, onion rings, kids chicken nuggets and a 10" pizza all for £40! The pizza was the best pizza we have had in Scotland! Highly recommend. We will be making this place a regular. Don't change a thing! The food ordered was very nice however in my online order I had requested extra sauce on the and no onions on the salad. Unfortunately this requested was obviously not looked at as the had barely any sauce and the salad was covered in onions. Now the sauce I can survive but the onions meant the salad had to be tossed. Its a shame as this is my first order in a while and it has put me right off. In the past customer service was great with requests always listened to. Used to be a regular but bitterly disappointed when called to provide feedback on recent order. I was met with a ‘what do you want me to do about it attitude’ when I called to say the food was really below par this evening not to mention the missing pita breads for 2 kebabs (I had my own nanns at home to substitute this). In future I will not ‘be nice’ and will send the below par food back, it was edible (charcoal is good for the teeth) but certainly wasn’t worth the money paid for it. NOT how to keep regular customers! Oh and not to mention the reduction in portion size for a mixed kebab (doner & chicken) the doner managed to have been scorched also. Fast delivery. good. Pitty the is so skitty in the single suppers.
