I went to my sister in law's funeral & the was so nice. The surrounding gardens are very well kept. Well organised service, staff to guide you in and check numbers, seat you distanced, then move away. It's not a place I would want to visit but as the need presented itself, in these strange times, I felt safe and comfortable. I hope you don't have to go but it's the place if you do. I was so impressed about the quality of service, staff and professionalism. Right from the start to the end, everything was catered for. These days they seem more frequent sadly. The place is very easy to get to via Alfreton island off A38. Very well set out. Ample parking. I don't think I can really love a place like this because of the reason for going to it . But it serves its purpose very well. My only downside to it is actually leaving the premises and I'm truly surprised that there hasn't been a serious accident with people using the road directly opposite to turn right this should clearly either have no entry signs on it or be altered to accommodate this manoeuvre safely. I have seen at least 2 near misses and a hearse actually coming out this way. When you enter this lane down the road it only has an arrow pointing right into the crematorium this is centrally placed and no arrow to come out. Hope this will soon be remedied This is a relaxing place but as it's not been built long ,they should have built more chapels , this only has one chapel and in this day and age it's just not enough , I'm not sure how many people it holds but it's not always big enough quite a few of our party including myself had to stand in the entrance hall . But it is a place . Very clean , very pleasant, well thought out . Lovely place to have a service. Very personal and in a setting. Would highly recommend. Amazing, lovely memorial spot. Nice gardens I go here every 2 weeks as I live in Sheffield but, it's always clean and well maintained, you can't say it's a 'nice' place to go but it is impressive the way it's kept and grounds are lovely but need lots more parking spaces to prevent on road double parking and a wider drive to prevent an accidents. I visited your memorial park on recommendation for my husband's funeral, such a wonderful setting so suitable for him. The staff and the celebrant Dawn fulfilled our wishes and were supportive throughout, especially to the grandchildren. This crematorium is Such a lovely and piecefull place. My grandma Kathleen passed away sadly from cancer in may of last year, and the entire process from the funeral home to the crematorium was handled very delicately and with the upmost care.
