Absolutely the most stunning beach I've ever been to. The was clearer than crystal. I saw a stingray, a starfish, and heaps of coral and seaweed. We were there around 3pm and honestly it was way too shallow in my opinion. I did a few times but sat hard on the sand each time. Definitely not safe to willy-nilly. The signage isn't and there's a sign saying there's a nudist beach, which there definitely wasn't thankfully. You do have to climb carefully down some crumbly cliffs to get there. Next time I'll come back with snorkelling gear to look at all the flora and fauna underwater, it's a full on paradise. Parking isn't ideal, we ended up parking in a permit zone and thankfully didn't get booked. It is a to visit, especially on hot days, it will be packed with people. Historically it is a place for and rock jumping for locals. I personally love the color of the here. To get down to the area, you need to go through steep uneven paths, not too difficult though. Basically no shade here so prepare water/drink and sunscreen. Beautiful sight, unfortunately off limits due to safety concerns. place only just over an hour out of Melbourne and it feels like somewhere off the coast of Italy. The rock isn’t that high but also the you into isn’t that deep so try not to go down really far underwater when you because you’ll hit the bottom. There is no shade here and it’s really busy on hot days. Beautiful views but please be aware it's closed now. You have to park your car around 1 km away and then walk along the road (without a footpath) to reach this place, so it's not safe It's such a beautiful spot! You just park kn the free parking available, walk 5 min and pass a bit of bust to find these amazing views with pristine aguamarine water. You can off various heights and it has a very easy way to climb back up! I recommended You get there super early because it does get busy. A beautiful away from the city, quiet in winter which was perfect to reconnect with nature A hidden gem in the Mornington Peninsula which make you feel as if you are in Europe. There is no parking on the so you have to park it either 400m before the and hitchhike by the road to reach this place. But it's worth the effort and you will be mesmerized by the views and the clear water. Make sure you carry your costumes and you need to hike down the to reach the waters so be careful. Also, if you are adventurous enough you can try to attempt the cliff jump. Love this place so much, to go with mates and have a time. BUT if you have young children I would not recommend since in summer especially there are often teens having alcohol and jumping in but 95% of the time they are extremely chill and people. Also be careful getting down since it can be a bit slippery Firstly, there's no car park here. The closest car parking we found was about 650 meters up the road towards Mount Martha beach, where there were a few spots available beside the road. Secondly, there are signs saying no entry and unstable cliffs and the main two paths in are blocked off with a low wooden fence, but that didn't stop anyone entering. The life guards from Mount Martha beach came over a few times on their jet skis to check on but didn't ask anyone to leave. So, it seems that the authorities are not encouraging access but neither do they seem to be actively stopping from accessing the cliffs. The walk (rather, climb) down is fairly steep and I wouldn't recommend the path for anyone except reasonable climbers. Definitely not suitable for anyone needing mobility aids. There is also no shade here, so if staying a while, sun protection is highly recommended. We visited in Summer and got a bit sun burned on exposed areas even though it was a cloudy, cool day. When we were there it was quite windy and the was very choppy. Even though it's a bay without big ocean waves, the waves were still about a metre or so high and very choppy. There is one somewhat difficult path to climb down to the that we found, where we surveyed the waves, depth and rock positions to assess the risks involved. The was not too difficult, as long as you stay clear of the sharp rocks. I decided on doing the lower only, about two meters, as a test, and nearly injured my eardrum, so I was glad I didn't take on the higher jump, although many did without apparent issues. My feet did touch the sandy bottom briefly after jumping, and most of the jumpers from the higher position said their feet touched the bottom also. Not sure how the depth would vary with the tide, but it didn't seem the safest. Serious injuries have been reported and I can imagine how these could happen given the close proximity of the rocks, the choppy and the limited access back out once you have dived in. You need to identify a safe exit path back out before you in and make sure your is competent enough to handle the conditions. I saw a few climbing some of the steeper lower cliffs out again after swimming, which seemed even more risky due to the chance of falling back onto underwater rocks. It is quite easy to get cut on the sharp while climbing or swimming. There was also some garbage left behind by inconsiderate people. It's astonishing how little some care for their environment, especially given what's known now about the effect of plastic pollution on the ocean environment and micro plastics. They probably don't realize that the plastic garbage they discarded without thinking may one day find it's way back into their own bodies. Overall, a beautiful place for catching the view, ocean or cliff diving from limited points, but the conditions need to be assessed very carefully before and especially before any diving. Are you a swimmer? Put your swim suits and in. Safe water, but not to safe getting down there, make sure to wear your hiking shoes when getting down and going up. Beautiful place to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery Beautiful place that is for photos and videos, can be difficult to locate but view once you arrive. Can be difficult to get onto the main part and can be incredibly crowded at times. I think it’s a place for an hour or so but then best to move on further down to the proper beach where you have more space to relax. The pillars are pretty good and have an amazing sun facing view of sunset. The pillars are a natural rock formation so it is important to remember that it isn't built for people. There is no easy access down to it, however there is a pretty okay path through some bushes which you can walk along to get down to the place. It is super important that you first test the depth of the before jumping in and ti se where the under are. I personally recommend bringing a strong carabiner and a rope as it will assist you in getting out of the water, there isn't really an easy way to get back on-top of the after you in. For the rest it's just a good time. Awesome views local spot. Can be tricky getting down but Totally worth it.
