Beautiful walk! Not quite linear though.... Excellent to exercise in, away from traffic. It is exactly 10km long, as measured with a pedometer, and spans the municipalities of Nicosia, Strovolos and Lakatamia. It is lit after dark. In the summer it is mostly empty during the (hot) day and most people show up after sunset. You will find walkers, joggers, runners, bicycle riders and dog walkers. In Nicosia you get a narrow with a tree canopy over your head and towards Lakatamia you get a wider with less trees and a separate trail for dog walkers. The two ends are 59F2+5W Nicosia and 475W+X9 Lakatamia. Lonely for walking and cycling. Need maintenance, lights as most of the places were dark and lights not working A long nautre walk running across Nicosia from downtown all the way to Lakatamia and ever further up! Contains 2 seperate lanes, one for pedestrians and one for cyclists. This runs along the Pedieos River. It's a lovely trail in the city to go for a walk/run during your day Good It's a nice strolling next to the running/bike path that follows the river. Not clearly marked, but you can easily figure out the path through. Great for a wall and jogging, calm for relaxation and meditation. An amazing place to go and relax after a day of work, The length of the offers a large variety of attractions in which a walker could visit! I personally would avoid walking through this area during night time for safety reasons. In the time following a rainfall the can grow sometimes even flooding the path in certain areas! 2019 March!! The is the nicest its ever been. I has rain so much this year that the stream is running with water and its unreal for Cyprus to have a small river. It is beautiful so if u have the chance to go this month its amazing! Very little shade in summer - no kiosk for drinks or ice cream or anything. It's quite small, but does have extensive paths within so ideal for walking dogs or exercising Хороший парк,есть парковка и церковь на территории It's a place to go. Any time of the year. Mid Feb is just a pure greenery and it's directly connected to Pedios which is flowing water at that month. Other months it's perfect place for kids, dog walkers, runners, cyclists, yoginis, families , some quality alone time to read book or to go for a date as at evening is super romantic when lights are on:) Ωραίος μέρος για περπάτημα Nice with very long trails and beautiful greenery. The is lit at night and it's great for walking your dog, running 🏃♀️, cycling 🚲 . Also has a playground for kids, toilets 🚻 and benches. Also noticed a little stream. A bit of a disappointment. As a visitor to Nicosia I was looking for a bit of green to walk in. First it isn’t signposted clearly so was difficult to find the way into the park, there was no obvious area to the car and we ended up parking in the next to it which ended up being a 30 min walk away by the time we had circumnavigated the president’s house and a military installation within Grammiko park. Finally we found our way in and a path that traversed it from one end to the other. But instead of it being a relaxing visit it ended up being a 90 minute hike trying to find our way in and out.
