The staff and lifeguards are friendly, although there is strictly no driving or jumping or ball games allowed but that makes it a more enjoyable experience for everyone as a result. Food served needs to be improved. Also the barriers dividing the kids from the main don't increase safety but on the contrary decrease it because in reality they function as an optical barrier. For a country with long summers, closing down at 18:00 is extremely early and CRIMINAL and very hot for kids to be going home. At least till 19:00-19:30 . Damn these people I’m guessing it serves the purpose of being a pool, that’s about it for me. Went there about 2 weeks after the opening of the post-renovation and was pretty disappointed to see that besides the pools; all the other facilities and equipment were old. The shower and locker room spaces for sure have not been even cleaned properly, nor did I see any cleaners even at the facility to look into the maintenance. Went there around 11 AM, an hour after opening and expectedly the place was already packed, which is fully understandable considering families with kids have nowhere else to go on a hot sunny day in Nicosia. What I didn’t like was that there was no one looking after the cleanliness of the place. It all felt unsanitary as a customer, piles of black hairballs everywhere… Giving one star for the fact that there is an affordable outdoor option for people to go to and another star for the fact that it’s family friendly. The wait staff are not looking around and making eye-contact with customers and not calling out named orders - this causes delays and mistakes. 3. Place the ticket office as the entrance to the where the security guard sits with a turnstile so that only those with tickets can enter. 4. There is no organisation at the food counter. Staff are not looking to see who is next and people are pushing in. It is chaos. There seems to be one person for taking coffee orders and another person taking orders for everything else. The music is very loud and I could not hear what the bar staff were saying and I'm not sure they could here me! Move the order taking station and till to the end of the bar where the ice-cream fridge is. Make the station much lower. Small children ordering at the bar cannot be seen as the bar is soo high, Adults were pushing in front of children. 5. With all the money that you got to renovate - you should have spent some money on a professional graphic designer. Using an AI image for the logo is a poor reflection on Nicosia Municipality. 6. Consider opening in the evening as a bar - i can manage this. The is beautiful but it's not open to the public...it's open only for the athletes and teams for their training. The main building of the establishment is completely closed and there is noone to talk to for information. The is closed to the public, and only functions as a practice for teams and lessons. I can't believe how big the pools use to be at this place and how tiny it turned out to be. Instead of moving forward we are moving backwards here in Cy. And they have been closed for years now "renovating" no pools left in Nicosia I signed up for the adult free twice a week, but the is always overcrowded. Olympic athletes train there at the same time, plus regular visitors, so it feels completely packed. The water isn’t clean — when you get in, it feels dirty right away. The changing rooms are tiny and unhygienic, with dead cockroaches and lockers so small they barely fit shoes, not to mention a bag. There’s hardly any space to change. Overall, the whole place feels poorly managed, and I will not be going again — I’m ending my subscription.
