We called in for Sunday lunch, after taking our dogs for a walk nearby. They were fully booked so we sat outside. Staff were really friendly and courteous. Food portions were generous, served piping hot, were tasty and well presented. Desserts were delightful too! Would highly recommend, without doubt! Really nice little pub. The food was really good. Great atmosphere. Exceptionally clean. Highly recommend. Can’t fault the food. It was presented very nicely and tasted great. It was a fair while waiting for the main but it was well worth it. I would rather wait for great food that’s freshly cooked than be served average food quickly. Table service was very friendly and accommodating. Special requests were no problem. We were a party of four and dined on a Tuesday evening. If you fancy great pub food then I would all highly recommend The White Hart Inn. Suns out and the dog friendly pub garden is open. Lovely alfresco Sunday lunch at The White Hart Inn, Havenstreet. Traditional roast lamb for wifey while I had a shredded duck bao bun starter with Asian slaw followed by fish n chips in a crispy cider batter. Lots of delicious home made options on the menu! Words cannot describe how in love i am with this place! In our week holiday we ate here 3 times and wish we booked more! The extensive specials menu changes everyday and provides the most gorgeous meals. All six of us tried a new meal every night and had the best food we have ever had. Don't get me started on the desserts because they sounded so good I wanted 3 a night 😂! The service is phenomenal and high class, always so polite and with a smile! The atmosphere is perfect, you can feel comfortable in your jeans or dressed up. We will be back next year and we are already looking forward to it. Absolutely worth a trip and the food was fantastic and with Starters, Main and Dessert for 3 people plus wine, Gin and beers was a total of £95 and i or we all had to say money well spend. Service also was excellent and we really felt welcome from the first second. Thumbs 👍... Our new favourite place to eat on the Island, a must visit. Great choice of fresh home cooked food for everyone, including vegetarian and vegan. We were a table of 7 and everyone loved their meals. Exceptionally friendly service, we were made very welcome. We will be back! Whilst staying at a local holiday cottage we visited the white hart inn and it was great! Food was delicious and great portion sizes, especially the peppercorn chicken.
