Really cool vibe and super nice staff working there. However the space is stuffy. The can be too loud for talking and the cigarette smoke is unbearable. I wish the back space/garden was aired out better and gave a chiller atmosphere. Amazing bar. It has evolved beautifully through the years but has managed to maintain its identity. Even though the place has a huge covered and heated smoking area outdoors, everyone, including the bartender, is smoking INSIDE. Also, I find it really disturbing that they have a huge picture of Mussolini on their wall. Will not come back, and definitely don't recommend if you don't like to be smoked like in 2007. I’ve never been a fan of the flashy, modern bars popping up everywhere, and this place is a rare gem that still holds onto the atmosphere of the old pubs and bars we used to have — like Babylon, New Division, and Platos. It has that authentic, timeless character you can’t find anywhere else anymore. The vibe is welcoming, the drinks are great, and it feels like a place where the night unfolds naturally without the pretentiousness of newer spots. If you’re looking for something real, something with history and soul, Reckless is the place to be. This is an amazing bar that has existed in the same place for mire than 30 years! They smoke everywhere inside... When I him what beers he had, he told me he only had 3... and then when I went to the bar he had another 10.... So here is the thing: 1.half of the place has no music 2.The staff is a bit rude and bad tempered, they behave at you as you are a child, they don’t want to serve you and help you have a nice experience. 3. Everybody is smoking inside 4.They told us we can’t pay by card if the bill is less than 30€. 5. When we were seated at the secondary space of the pub (where there is no music) we to move in the primary space so we can listen to some music, they denied that to us. (We were just 2 people) so when we saw an opening and if we could move there they said no. In the end we moved there without asking again and we were fine. Honestly I don’t know what is wrong with this place, just be a human and serve your customers that want to drink a beer and listen to some I recently visited this place with my friends. We had an awful experience, here is more information. Our server was a male, wearing glasses. When he came to take our order he didn’t want to bring us menus, even when we for them, he insisted that “he is here to help us, with our order”. When he brought us our drinks, we him for popcorn, since all the tables around us had popcorn and he hadn’t brought us any, we in a polite way, and he straight up told us no. He then told us, “only if you say the magic word”, in which he meant that we needed to please him to bring us popcorn. The bar does not accept bill splitting, which is acceptable, but he forced us to pay him in cash, telling us that the minimum card amount is 30€. This thing being illegal by the way. As a customer you should be allowed to pay with card at any amount. Overall the experience of the service was an absolute 0, which brought down the entire experience, would not recommend you to go to this place. (After a few attempts waving out hands and shouting for someone to come to our table) Took like 10-15 mins for the first beer to arrive and 10 more for the rest Even though we were like 5 people instead of bringing all of the drinks on one or two attempts After all us arrived 13 more minutes for the water and one more beer (counted on the clock) to arrive. There was literally no on half of the place and the other half had 1 or 2 speakers to cover the area so you can imagine how loud people talking was isted.
