Camping, campfires, and off-leash dogs are forbidden since it is a nature reserve in an ecologically sensetive marsh, but somehow industrial ranching is allowed (welcome to Germany). I saw plenty of evidence that the locals just ignore the rules; proceed at your own risk. We chose to camp somewhere else.
