On top of all this they probably bought the most noisy fruit juicer ever! After only less than a minute that somebody behind the counter was operating that machine I had to walk outside to stay sane. We asked if the cheese could have been removed from the already prepared sort of piadina for my little niece, he said no. We were afraid of asking for everything as he was only shouting around. We asked for the bill to be taken outside and we paid cash as we were afraid of going inside. It was a ripped off and poor food. Awful stay away. Overpriced. Food was stale, tasteless, half warmed up and absurdly overpriced. We even had to ask for our change! Worst food in Italy. Avoid at all costs. Better eat scraps from a trash can than this food. Our mistake was we were hungry and this was the 1st place we came too. We ordered a salad, two sandwiches and two cokes. Cost . 28 euros! I was too stupid and paid it! The salad was absurd and the cheese in the sandwiches was non existent. I went back in and ask the manager if he could show me where the cheese was in the sandwiches. He became very angry so I threw the sandwiches at him and left. Sorry...but he got what he deserved. Don't ruin your trip to Assisi by stopping here!
