We’re strangers to the area and in passing we decided to call in for lunch. The cafe is set in a beautiful location just off the main road, ample parking provided for both motorists and bikers. Overlooking a large fishing lake with outside and indoor seating, order your food at the counter and they bring it to you when it’s ready. A good choice of food on offer all at reasonable prices. Stopped for breakfast and it was the most delicious breakfast I've had for quite a long time, quality produce, cooked to perfection and all whilst sat in the sun with a view of the fishing lake. Owned by a lovely farming family. Friendly ducks. Lots of trees. Firepit area. Open daily until 3pm. Great food, prices, owners and staff. Everyone is welcomed here. Bikers, fishermen, tent campers, families, etc. The owners listen to their customers and action any good suggestions for improvement. This is currently one of my favourite places. First visit on the bike great coned out area for sensible parking great views of the lakes outside with lovely clean inside eating area's aswell, The food was excellent at a reasonable price will definitely return great place for a stop of if your riding that way or just make it your destination you can always ride the long way 😀 Decided to take a mates advice and give the double cheese burger a try. (Their breakfasts are really good too) He was not wrong - really tasty, juicy beef and not a drop of grease. Frys were hot crispy and fluffy inside.
