Clean, well maintained, crazy beautiful. We spent a single night in prep for a next year. We stayed in Bigelo, viewed Parlin, Viewed Mini's. We'll (Parents of the bride) stay in any. Props to the cleaning staff, cleaner than the chain hotels. Looking forward to a longer stay. This place is awesome. The staff is amazing. If want a getaway with the amenities this is it Sits on the kennebec river. Plenty to do. Icefishing snowmobiling snowshoeing summer time is also great canoeing rafting hiking. I attended a here and it was beautiful. The lake is so peaceful it was a perfect spot to watch friends tie the knot. The cabins were much better and nicer than we expected them to be. They had a small kitchen with all the things you need: coffee pot, stove, toaster, fridge, even had plates and silverware. The beds were complete with fresh sheets and we were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves comfortable while camping. Perfect little getaway spot. I also really enjoyed having zero cell service which really allowed me to detach. The staff was friendly and super accomodating. The food was pretty good too. There is plenty to do nearby if you are looking for more adventure but we choose to stay on site and soak up the peace in doing nothing! Our daughter got married at Maine Lakeside and I can’t say enough about how great the experience was. Holly was amazing and so was the entire staff. The food and service were top notch. I recommend this place for any occasion. Special service makes special memories which is what I experienced at Maine Lakeside. Thank you thank you for making my daughter’s so amazing. Cheers! Father of the bride Was able to book a cabin on short notice for the eclipse and I’m so glad I did. This place is amazing and serene. The cabin was clean with a great view. The weather was perfect without a cloud in the sky all day. Was able to get some nice shots of the event! Thanks again, Holly, for the wonderful accommodations! Booked this as our venue, and it did not disappoint. Holly, the owner who was also our coordinator, was absolutely phenomenal. Every little thing we needed and asked for (and then some) she was on top of. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, views of the water and the fall foliage were amazing. 10/10, highly recommend Maine Lakeside Cabins for your venue/destination or just a quick weekend getaway. What a beautiful spot!!! The cabins were spotless, well stocked and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, efficient and accommodating. I only wish I could have spent more time there.
