An and a beautiful stream bed and whether the stream is full or a trickle. Houston Brook is a great find! Definitely worth the visit! Super buggy so make sure you bring your bug spray. Fairly little to a breathtaking waterfall. Very little people around, we were there for awhile and ran into only one other couple having a picnic. Dog friendly, our dog loved all the climbing involved. A good from the parking area. Small stream running along the path. Probably a 5 minute walk. Definitely worth stopping. Looks like you could soak in the pools below on a really hot day. We visited in February when the trail was slippery packed snow but worth it to see the natural ice 'sculpture' encasing the falls. Parking in front of the transfer station is limited. It's a 5-10 minute to the falls. Very impressive falls. Nice pools to swim in when the water level is right. Excellent photo opportunities. Rated moderate because no real trail and bridges are broken but it was a and fairly hike. Definitely worth the view. The mosquitoes are terrible so be prepared for that! down to the falls. Plenty of roots to step over and stable rocks and roots to grab to get down by the water. There are probably less than 8 parking spots. Not too much water in early September. But plenty of good places to get pictures and hang out for a little Wow. What a beautiful waterfall. The trail in isn't very hard so even inexperienced hikers can do it with ease. The trail is well defined and the is to get to. I will definitely be returning Quiet hide away We had a great time with the kids our group went from the ages of 2 years old up to 45 years old and it was a fairly hike! The 2-year-old did want to be held sometimes which made it difficult for me the 45-year-old lol! We attempted to bring a stroller at first but that did not work out as there are a couple downed trees. be careful on the simple bridges because there are a few really bouncy boards that feel like they could give way. Don't let any of these reasons deter you from going because it is absolutely gorgeous! Amazing!! It was a in. There is a bridge that made me feel a bit questionable while crossing, but overall it was an downhill to get to the waterfall. My 4 year old walked there in his cross. The pools were amazing and there weren't a ton of people there so we had privacy. Such a great and swimming spot!! but rooty 8 minute in and kid friendly. Will definitely come again. to find as there is a sign that says on the side of the road. Such a beautiful spot... just a trail and you arrive to a beautiful waterfall. The water is cold but you can swim under the and in the areas around it. Great little hike, excellent crisp water. Not too busy. You will have a good incline back and going down into the when low is a bit slippery and very rocky. to beautiful falls. Lots of rocks and elevations to explore. Beautiful - up beyond the top of the and you'll find great pools to wade in. Great but not super well marked. Glad we found it because it was a super and the itself was goin off! Not sure it it's always like that or just due to a lot of local rainfall but it was crazy! Super cool.
