I was looking for heather honey when in Scotland for almost two weeks and even though the produce was low this year cause of the weather I managed to get the last two jars from the Spey Larder! We also tried their sandwiches which were tasty with fresh ingredients from their deli and very cheap! You can find everything from cheeses, to meats and spreads, fresh pastries and cakes, jams and chutneys, any kind of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, different snacks as well as various kinds of gifts. I could spend a whole day in there! You should definitely check it out when in Aberlour! Little shop loaded with food and goods. Tasty sandwiches and lots of jarred items that are hard to find. Whisky for sale as well. Simply excellent. Reasonably priced given the high quality of the food and service; extensive and interesting takeaway menu. The sandwiches were delicious but the chicken and ham pie was even better. We will be back and often. Such a well stocked lil shop full of tiny jam pots and spices from all over, who'd have thought you could find harissa in Speyside ☺️ A1 help too from Claire (hope I spelt it right) expertly cutting some manchego and Wiltshire and apricot cheese.
