Lovely burgers Great place we've been wanting to visit for some time. Due to the popularity it is often fully booked. Went to our son's birthday on a sat lunchtime. Very nice selection of burgers and side dishes. Watch for the generous portions as you may well order more than you can eat. Lovely location in the hills above the river Wye. Staff we're very friendly and helpful. Location allows dogs which permitted us to bring ours. OK, if you managed to book a table in advance, starve for 2 days before. The portions are huge 😁. Also the was almost as I like it, pink. A delightful place to go and unusual as it is in a middle of a working farm. I feel so lucky that I was able to get a table last minute here. I saw the reviews and decided to give it a go on my holiday to Forest of Dean and wow I am so glad I didn't pass it up. I can hands down say that this is THE best bugers and chicken tenders I have ever had. The food took about 20 mins to arrive, the staff were friendly and very attentive, the food itself looked great and tasted out of this world. The flavours were great. I am not usually a smash fan as I always find bits of gristle but not here. It was perfect. The sauces and glaze on the chicken tenders again was and it all arrived hot, the textures were on point and I just cannot fault any of it at all. This is an little gem and I am gutted that I live so far away! 100% recommend to anyone wanting a good burger. Absolute gem of a find! Tucked away in the farm side is this glorious eatery 😍 been here twice now and will definitely be going back. Food is always bang on, full of flavour, full of meat and you leave feeling full 😋 Excellent burgers, and chicken, worth the trip to the middle of nowhere! Bur definitely book. Wow wow wow !! If u haven't even here yet u really need to. U best book soon as its a hell of a wait to get a table. Well worth it tho. The food is UNREAL. Honestly the best I've ever eaten. Their spicy chicken strips are another level. Their fries are light and crispy and full of flavour. The place is immaculately clean, all the servers are amazing. Really well priced too. I'd give this place 6 stars if I could and would recommend to everybody. One of the best meals we've had in a very long time. Get it booked guys, u will not be disappointed. Pig & Apple in Monmouth has easily become my all-time favourite spot, the food is always incredible and packed with flavour. Set on a farm, the restaurant has a unique, relaxed vibe that feels special as soon as you arrive. The staff are always warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly. The presentation of the food is always spot on too, every dish looks just as good as it tastes, which really shows the care and attention they put into everything they do. I try to get over there at least once a month, especially when they drop new specials or seasonal menus, if I'm lucky enough to grab a booking before they sell out! It’s 100% worth the hour-long drive every single time. If you love good food, great service, and a setting that’s got charm, you won’t be disappointed. Absolutely food, the burgers were 15/10 and the tater tots with brisket was defo the best choice, will definitely be returning thanks alot Genuinely stunning food, huge portions and reasonable prices. Ordered loaded fries but the was more than enough. Id give a 4 for atmosphere as we had a take away and ate at home so thats my rating for my living room. My eldest said its the best hes ever had, just messy to eat (sign of a great burger) Meat was perfect i had the baby blue and oh my days this was the best!
