Wow the little cottage this is hpused in is like a tardis inside !!! Huge amount of carparking space. Toilets and walking trails in woodland. The was unmanned when we visited, but has brilliant displays, a lot of information, a hide with video etc. Really great little find. Motorhomes allowed overnight - suggested £10 donation. Well worth a visit. Worth a visit, even if it's just for a nice walk with a lovely view of Beinn Eighe. A lot of effort has been put into the small and the surrounding trail, definitely worth supporting with a visit. No staff member was there when we visited -which wasn't needed. There are some beautiful wild birds you can watch behind a glass window Very good visitor centre, lots of information and wildlife to see as well as kids activities. Great information with a fantastic bird viewing room. Parking and toilets. Many great walks for all ages. Wheelchair friendly walks. Absolutely stunning part of Scotland great looking Bein and even nicer valley. Plenty of places your dog can have a swim or drink. Plenty of seating if you need a little rest and stunning views. Not far from a lovely coffee shop and fuel station, a fantastic hotel kinlochiewe and a public loos Great trails. Not too difficult but gives you the feeling of a remote walk. Accessible bathrooms. Fantastic location and scenery. Good information and guides to walks available. Really recommend the lochside carpark a little further down the road as a base for walking and exploring the loch. Stopped off today for a walk. Out of season so the visitor was closed but that was to be expected. What an amazing landscape it is. I took the Buzzard trail up to the top. This is at the foothills of Beinn Eighe itself and what a sight. It was very cold but dry and the sun was out. Perfect walking conditions really. The bird hide was open at the visitor and there is an interactive tv screen in there displaying local info. I was most surprised that the toilets were open and they were heated and spotlessly clean too. Looking forward to visiting when it opens after Easter.
