Great position in the marina overlooking the harbour walls. Within easy walk of the town centre, other places worth visiting, the harbour - which goes on a lot further than you would expect. There is a children's playground close by and beaches are within walking distance. A friendly welcome with lots of help about what is local and worth doing. I was just stopping overnight to break up my journey to Inverness. I was parked up on the front with an uninterrupted view of the harbour and the sea. Lovely greeting from rhona. Would certainly recommend. Please don't put statics on the far end pitches 🤣, the unspoilt view we had was fabulous Just home from a week at marina bay with our caravan and wow what else can I say the is stunning. Beautiful views the caravan park is well maintained very clean and tidy. Lovely staff and all very helpful would highly recommend marina bay everything you can imagine is all within walking distance from lovely coffee and shop on we had an amazing time can't wait to come back. If I could leave a negative rating, I absolutely would. I booked a stay at this through Pitchup.com on the 20th of March. Four days later, the booking was cancelled—yet neither the nor Pitchup.com bothered to inform me. I only found out when I followed up myself. I was told the cancellation was due to a double booking, which turned out to be untrue. The owner later admitted they weren’t even accepting bookings until April 1st, that were to be done over the phone. It was their error they had made pitches available to be booked via the 3rd party website. This lack of communication left me with two devastated children and a forced apology that did little to make up for the situation. While the owner did refund my deposit—something that should have been handled by Pitchup—it was presented almost as a favour. If they believe that makes up for the inconvenience and disappointment, I’m more baffled than ever. Their customer service is shockingly poor, and I would strongly caution others before booking. Lovely, friendly, clean, comfortable little in great location. Highly recommend this place to stay, view was lovely and the staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much for them, the was immaculate and the lodge was beautiful, very modern and of the highest standard. Clean and comfortable like a home away from home, if ever we needed help staff were always on hand. Rhona the manager was a star, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
