Key system for marinas is never as good as code system. Shower only the electric one is decent. Unfortunately is at the wrong side of the harbour so it's a 30min walk to get to the town centre Very nice marina. Friendly and good clean facilities. Great place to layover for a couple of nights waiting for the weather to improve befire putting to sea again. Friendly who met us on arrival. Well priced with all well kept. Great little spot to park and paddleboard. The marina are out cleaning the pontoons in a gale...thats dedication! Took my lines on arrival too...nice place to wait out the gale. Shoreside power and water. Stayed at the campsite for a stop over. Not really geared up for motorhomes. Found it difficult to fill up with water as the only suitable tap was between pitches and if other vans were there it would have made it impossible. Public footpath runs to the rear of some of the pitches. Ground was very soft but it was late on in the season. Easy walk into town. We watched the ships coming to and from the harbour which was ok. Some issues with this marina it took all day to find the marina to get the tokens to do my washing. We called him the evaporating harbour master. There are no decent shops anywhere near and no where to get spares for the boat either. The visitors berths are pretty exposed to the wind and it is a 400 meter walk to the washing facilities. Other than that it was clean and fine. Excellent toilet and shower and friendly staff. As a gardener I also appreciated the little sea side garden outside the office block. Loved this marina! Excellent access to deep draft visitor berths, very tidy and new looking facilities. The harbor master is very helpful. Coffee at the marine academy at the top of the hill is very good - and would also recommend a visit to the prison museum (10 min walk). Great stop when you're working your way up or down the coast. Lovely spot....clean little beach, clear clean water for swimming ,canoeing etc. Sea Cadets can be out tutoring budding sailors....great place for kids! 🥇 Super Gorgeous venue for swimming, paddling, sailing, paddlesports and windsurfing. A beautiful sandy beach, with clear blue water, just gorgeous! A nice place to go for a walk on a lovely day Nice clean facilities. Friendly staff. On the sea front so we had a lovely view, enjoyed watching the boats coming in and out of the harbour. Amenities nearby.
