Heaven ,beautiful scenery and walks I have only given 3 stars- as hhe isn't much, as it is a Cove really. The tennis court has thr best view! There is s lovely pub, 2 cafes and an ice cream gift shop, plus boast path wslks , do 5 stars for the whole of Crackington. Toilets are basic, as funded by locals and visitors money. small quiet beach, 2 cafes and some free toilets. steep narrow lanes driving to it, take care. Wonderful views, excellent lunch break point or start and/or finish for walkers. March visit chilly but lovely sunshine - The Cabin provided cosy shelter, tasty lunch and coffees. 👍 Lovely little cove. Cheap parking and a couple cafes and a pub. Nice to chill and have a coffee/ice cream and a little walk. Some incredible views on the way to and from too! Cracking spit Amazing little cove. Loved the cleaning incentive. Lovely beach, we went at low tide, had a lovely hot chocolate at the cafe after a nice explore in the rock pools and a run with the dog. Clean and tidy beach. Beautiful scenery, a few places. to eat and drink. Great beach, plenty of sand at low tide and also rocks to climb/crab in and a estuary that runs through and has created a shallow pool at the top. Theres a car park just across the road with two cafes and a pub. Plus public toilets! Its a winner especially if you have kids. We went in the winter and it was quiet (all the above places still open!). Also great coastal paths around too. The is beautiful and surrounded by cliffs that you can hike. The view is stunning. Yummy food and wonderful panini/ baguette, milkshakes and sweet food selection. Beautiful café on the edge of the with friendly staff. Great walk along the coast path, cafes and pub Beautiful and cafe right next door sells gorgeous pasties . Lovely lady serving gave me lots of local information, places to see etc A gem of a with lots of rock pools to explore and the Cabin Cafe was fantastic with homemade offerings. One of the favourite beaches! The drive is a bit of a faff as you descend quite steeply on approach but as the sun literally sets in the middle of the view from the all is forgiven. (FYI no phone signal once you get there and parking is cash only) Amazing beach. We were staying in a house nearby for 7 days and spent 3 days at this because we loved it so much. We've got a 3 and 6 year old and they spent the entire time either splashing in the waves or rock pooling in the most fantastic rock pools. The Cabin Cafe had delicious lunch / cake and ice cream options which you could sit in with or take away to the beach. They also sold body boards and nets etc. Toilets next to the were really handy. One thing to note is the car park is cash only so bring some coins. You can pay hourly or it's £8 for the whole day. If you can't get in at the bottom car park there is one slightly higher up the road. We also ate dinner at the pub on our last night which had great food and lovely staff. Lovely little that’s nicely tucked away between some hills. We went during high tide so there wasn’t actually much to explore which was unfortunate, but that’s our fault and we should’ve checked the times!! Beautiful view nonetheless and great for dogs and kids as there’s sand for sand castles and rocks for rock skimming!
