Booked/reserved a online the day before and received confirmation the same day Upon arriving, I received excellent customer from Oscar who explained the rental process, suggested and set up the for me. I had the basic mountain with front shocks and 9 gears which was enough for me Cycle helmet, chain, pump and puncture repair are all provided as standard. There is a free car park near the local primary school if visiting by car and a short walk to the bicycle shop. When returning the back I was warmly welcomed back by both Oscar, his colleague and the dog (Martha) who asked how the was, which route I took etc. A thoroughly effortless and seamless process. The were faultless and very smooth, certainly the best I’ve been on in a long time. Went on an off-road gravel track. It had beautiful forest views and wasn’t too hard to cycle on. It was fun overall and would that you to come here as well, whether with a family for a relaxing cycle, or for more serious - they have it all! Fantastic staff! We called the day before and they were very friendly and helpful. This mirrored the we received when we picked up the the next day. Really knowledgeable about the area and very accommodating- even providing a little rucksack for the day. We hired gravel at £40 each for the whole day. Would 100% and return. These guys are brilliant! Diagnosed and cured the problem with my Cube EB where other dealers were baffled or just didn’t want to know. Supremely knowledgeable as they and repair all manner of on their huge hire fleet. Don’t waste your time speaking to anyone else . Their and “can do “ attitude is rare in this industry. After being messed about by one of the big manufacturers my son and I stumbled across New Forest Cycling. They had the that we wanted in stock and cheaper. So after a very easy online ordering system, we received an email to say they would like to drive it to us to ensure safe delivery rather than use a courier. And here we are 3 days later in receipt of the bike, set up perfectly, delivered by the very smiley Harry. from Jon and his team. We hired 5 (3 kids and 2 adult with childseats on the back for our 3 year old twins). The staff were very and professional. They provided us with puncture repair kits and pumps but also told us that if we got a puncture they'd come out with a new (we didn't). The were quality. We did the ride along the purple woodland route which the shop supplied us with a map for (the route was 8.5 miles but 10miles by the time we got to and from the shop). Our 3, 5, 7 and 9 year olds loved it and had an absolutely brilliant day. We saw wild ponies and the scenery was lovely. There were a few hills so if your kids aren't used to cycling maybe the green route would be better. Very and friendly staff. Booking, collection and return was easy. We hired a Cube e-bike, and it was excellent quality - totally capable of everything we needed it for. High capacity battery meant we didn't even use 50% of it all day (32 miles). Free parking at the top of the hill near the cricket ground / school. Thanks very much! I had a ride on a gravel doing The Deer Sanctuary, Linwood Loop and Rhinefield Ride with a couple of side tracks to bring it up to about 60km. Great, well maintained gravel tracks linked with quiet road sections. The took me through heather heathland, grassland moors, forest and the more ornamental arboretum rides. I was lucky to have a lovely sunny start to the day and a really good oversight of the New Forest. The advice on was and the performed well, a Giant Revolt.
