Beautiful riverside areas Went here for a function, so not so much as a visitor of the gardens as such. The beer was flowing freely and my observation skills became less accurate as time went on. I vaguely remember some pretty plants though, and my built-in hazard perception noted a large area of water nearby that looked like it would harm me if I entered it in my anebriated state. I made good friends with a couple swans that frequented the area. Pessimisticly, i think their friendship wasn't due to my fun nature and good looks, rather the brioche part of my cheeseburger i was attempting to consume. Nice place to stroll along the river. Nearby street parking (if you’re lucky) or a “pay” car park available. Public toilets adjacent to the car park and nearby Tuckton Tearooms a good place for refreshments. This place is lovely. We had a nice cup of hot chocolate. Excellent starting point for a to the harbour entrance, with a ferry back. We attended the mcmillan light up the sky for your loved ones,, it was a great idea, and exactly a year that I lost my mum,, she is very much missed by her family,, beautiful evening,, raised money for mcmillan unit too,, Stunning little harbour with docked boats and also self hire drive boats! Always a good place to go, especially on a dry sunny day, but they have a proper heated cafe now for indoor seating whatever the weather. There is so much more than the cafe at Tuckton Tea Gardens to enjoy... Lovely cakes, scones, tea etc. Very friendly and flexible service. Highly recommend 😊 Always a pleasure to visit.
