Managed to get a late booking for Sunday roast. Parking was full however there was space in the village. Beautiful decor inside and a feel together place. too. Large food options available for a Sunday. The gammon was huge and the veg very tasty. Only downer was one dessert available out of 4. Still the mocha fudge brownie was delicious! Lots of events and food nights on. We will definitely be back. Thanks The food and were both fantastic. It was certainly one of the more expensive establishments I have reviewed and dined at, but I still felt that I received value for my money and was completely satisfied after a very, very enjoyable meal. I had the chicken burger, customized to my liking, and loaded fries. I will definitely be visiting again; it was a wonderful discovery! A very welcoming country pub with the most delicious food - perhaps the best roast beef in have ever eaten! were highly attentive, aware of allergy requirements and ensure a very friendly, pleasant atmosphere. Wowee this place is a ten out of ten for me! little bistro pub with fabulous - Matt and Molly! A atmosphere- music too. The food is simply fabulous, as a vegetarian choices can be so limited but the stuffed vine leaves on polenta with extra halloumi was out of this world… add a portion of loaded fries - literally every mouthful was heavenly…the local ale was and Matt gave me a taster to make sure I liked it… it felt like nothing was too much trouble, so in summary… spotlessly clean, super food, staff, parking, accessible - no steps from car park side … local craft ales … literally the perfect pub …I wish it was my local! Pub. atmosphere. The landlord was very nice and attentive. Looks like it has been decorated recently, and to a very standard. Food was and HOT! Only constructive criticism, the mocha was like warm. Could have been hotter. Would recommend. Visited The White Horse on Saturday 29th March for a and all four of us really enjoyed our food. It made a change to have a out and where we all said that was an enjoyable with service and a pleasant atmosphere. I would highly recommend this pub if you want a food that is value and tasty. choice of food for all. Will definitely be visiting again. We had a here with some friends. The landlord is very and the food is excellent. It has some interesting specials and well kept real ales. Highly recommended. A nice little pub off the beaten track. Nice food and staff. Couldn't see if wheelchair accessible but family and dog friendly. Prices were what you would expect for a country pub, we paid just under £80 for two (two course bottle of wine and other drinks). Parking outside. Visited today with friends for a ‘3 course lunch’ A warm welcome, despite the fact we were 10 mins late for our booking. Table ready for us and we were quickly sat down and drinks order taken. We had 2 dogs with us and the venue was described as ‘Dog Friendly’ on the website… actually I’d say they ‘love dogs’ and we were made to feel so welcome. All the were excellent in their attentive service and way. The place has a relaxed and the should be proud to create such a atmosphere. The food was ‘next level’ and without doubt we will return. All 3 courses cooked and prepared beautifully. superb value in beautiful surroundings. What a brilliant experience - Thank you so much to the Team! Just had the loveliest time here. We popped in as we were passing and had heard things. We were not disappointed. The pub is spotless and really well taken care of, the were all so warm, especially the waitress Danny. The biggest YESSSS was the food. We shared some spicy dirty fries and a seafood platter, i have to say that for the price we we’re expecting average “pub grub” but that’s not what we got, it was really well prepared, really well presented, really tasty and really well priced. Will be back! Had a time here celebrating a birthday, was and super accommodating. In hindsight should of got the roast as my seabass was on the small side but delicious nonetheless. Love that they have neck oil on draft & allow dogs! We were a party of six and all our food was top notch. They also were very at dealing with gluten free request and took measures to ensure the food was gluten free and provided gluten free rolls too. Would definitely recommend. We visited this pub last Saturday with my family and absolutely loved it! It’s such a cosy place with really nice decor and a atmosphere. The were super friendly, polite and helpful, and the food was honestly outstanding! We had the pan-seared chicken supreme, beef bourguignon and butternut squash risotto and OMG, everything was sooo good! The desserts were amazing too. We’ll definitely be coming back soon! Absolutely fantastic find. We are very impressed with the decor, atmosphere, the attentiveness of the (not overdone but very polite and friendly) We came in at around 6.20 on a Wednesday and the place was already busy but fortunately we we told he could squeeze us in. So pleased as the food was superb ( and I don’t say that often) Even the gammon, eggs and chips that my husband ordered had a little bit of a twist to it in the form of a pineapple salsa which complimented the perfectly. My chicken supreme came with beautifully cooked parmentier potatoes, a sweetcorn puree and a fresh little salsa. Service was faultless. By the time we left at 8pm all the tables were full as was the bar. This is a dog pub in the bar and also has a pretty beer garden with a view of the church tower. We will be back when in the area again Family Birthday lunch Saturday 2pm , 6 adults and 3 grandchildren. Really nice food, service, even with a big table with kids and variety menu all the food came out at the same time. Price not the cheapest but obviously quality, the owners are very experienced from previous restaurant and it shows. We’ve been a couple of times and the above review has been consistent. Been coming here for a while now quite regularly and always had a fantastic experience. It occurred to me tonight I had never actually done a review, so after another I thought I would take a few minutes to write one! Ambience is always here, there’s a buzz about the place. The are really and smiley. But the food…honestly never had a bad dish. Every single thing is delicious and beautifully presented every time. The White Horse has become our number one place to go and for reason. It is definitely the best pub in the area. It’s always busy, but somehow they always manage to accommodate. I’d thoroughly recommend! This is a village pub. and locals. The food is excellent for a village pub. I had the mussels off the specials - awesome So thrilled to find a themed tapas menu - what a treat. Shall be returning with the girls this week and I can’t wait! I was supposed to meet a friend. The place is in a nice village, and when I walked in and looked around, I immediately noticed the dirty, even very dirty chairs that were stained, how can people sit on them? It's disgusting. If the dining area is this 'clean,' how is it in the kitchen? I didn't want to take the risk.
