Absolutely love this place. Always busy which is a testament to how good it is. Delicious food and warm customer service. What more can you want Wythmails, Orlingbury: A Stop That’ll Steal Your Heart (and Possibly Your Afternoon) ☕🥓🍳 Tucked away in the charming village of Orlingbury, Wythmails is the kind of place you stumble upon for a and end up staying for a full-on feast. We popped in for a casual and left wondering how soon we could come back—it’s that good. The Setting: Cosy, Charming & Utterly Delightful From the outside, Wythmails looks like a lovely little café. From the inside? It’s heaven with a rustic twist. Warm, welcoming, and full of tempting smells drifting from the kitchen, it has that perfect “sit down and stay a while” atmosphere that makes you forget you’ve got anywhere else to be. The Drinks: Caffeine Done Right ☕ Let’s start with the coffees—strong, smooth, and expertly made. Whether you’re after a flat white with flair, a latte with perfect foam, or a straight-up black with no messing about, Wythmails delivers the goods. It’s the kind of that fuels conversation, second rounds, and maybe just one more sandwich “for the road.” The Food: Goals Achieved 🍳🥪 We sampled a glorious selection of staples, and honestly? Not a crumb was left behind. • The special of the day was a triumph—fresh, seasonal, and packed with flavour (plus served with the kind of care and attention that made it feel, well, special). • The sandwiches? Absolute heroes. Perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, and fluffy bread that managed to hold it all together without falling apart or going soggy. Honestly, the sandwich alone could have carried the brunch, but the rest of the menu came out swinging too. Portions were generous, flavours were spot-on, and it all arrived looking like something you’d see in a cookbook—but better, because you actually get to eat it. The Service: Friendly, Warm & Spot-On The team at Wythmails are exactly who you want running your favourite local café—friendly, genuine, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made us feel right at home, knew the menu inside-out, and were more than happy to chat through the specials and options. The Verdict: A Gem in the Northamptonshire Countryside ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re anywhere near Orlingbury and fancy a cracking brunch, a great coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere where you can actually hear yourself think, Wythmails is 100% worth the trip. Whether you’re catching up with friends, refuelling mid-adventure, or just in need of a and something delicious, this place delivers with charm and a side of crispy bacon. Five stars—plus an extra one for the sandwich that made us briefly consider moving to Orlingbury. Great breakfast! Highly recommend. Quick service. Good choices. Cakes looked amazing. No parking at the cafe however the pub opposite has free parking. Great breakfast! Highly recommend. Quick service. Good choices. Cakes looked amazing. No parking at the cafe however the pub opposite has free parking. We had heard good things and it's all true. Amazing service, so and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Food choices are fab! Even for a fussy flexitarian! Food was fresh, absolutely awesome and I'd highly recommend 👌 First time visit. I got french toast with banana and it was nice, i prefer a different style of french toast but still very nice. Misses got a burger and enjoyed that too. Got a pot of Tea for 2 and all in was £35. I was happy with that. We are going back soon to try other bits. Hash browns were very good as was the bacon so i will try the full english next. Decide to take a trip to Wythmails this week to sample the breakfast. Welcomed by staff, and offered a menu. and clean inside and cosy. It got busy very quickly. I ordered the full English with a black coffee. Whilst waiting, i noticed they had a wonderful selection of cakes, pastries, and sauces and offered a takeaway too. Coffee was quality and strong. arrived, which i paid £15 and some change including the coffee. This is the most expensive so far. So you get 1 sausage, 2 slices of bacon, 2 hashs browns, beans and a small poached egg with a slice of toast. The sausage was just full of meat and was excellent quality, the last time i had a sausage like that was when i was a young. The bacon also excellent quality and tasted lovely. The small poached egg was super but very small, and the beans very tasty too as was the hash browns. Overall your paying for the quality ingredients, they offer black pudding and mushrooms as extras. I think personally they could give one as part of the breakfast. Also, i think they could give 2 eggs or 2 sausages for the price you pay. As i said, super quality ingredients and for a treat now and then. I will definitely be back to try one of their superb looking Burgers. Lovely place to with lovely staff. You can park in the pub car park, so plenty of room, and lots of seating outside, so would be in the warmer months, but really worth a to this lovely village of Orlingbury. Great food, super and efficient staff. Clean toilets. Good outdoor patio seating. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Very happy indeed. Sat outside, had and coffee. Really lovely setting, decent portion time, it was busy so we had a little wait for our food to come off but would 100% LOVE to come back again Small yet perfectly formed! It's not a huge place, but the portions are, and the food is excellent. The are great - really friendly, and as far as I'm concerned, it's a real gem. There's little to no parking outside, but it's owned by the pub over the road, so you can park there. I've been a few times now, and it's always packed so tgat says it all. Can’t remember having a better burger (and I’ve had a few!). Please add the carbonara burger to the main menu so we can have it all the time! Lovely and great atmosphere. We will be back! Very and place. We went for and it was amazing. Welcoming atmosphere with pleasant music in the background. Little minus for no mustard (comment from my fiancé 🤣) We will be coming back for sure! Lovely stylish cafe doing fabulous and with friendly, efficient - always a joy to - thank you One of the best cafes I’ve been to in a long time. Great food, and presentation. A must visit. Amazing and great staff. If you have to wait do. You will not be disappointed!!! In my opinion, Wythmail's is quite possibly the best shop/cafe in Northamptonshire, and probably beyond. A true benchmark. is always spot on with all being polite and friendly. The food is amazing quality, and the is fantastic (Yellow Bourbon Roasters). I think all ingredients are sourced locally too. Looking forward to many more visits. Highly recommended. It was our first and we had Sunday breakfast. The food was excellent, the was excellent. Definitely make a return visit. The only negative was that the brown sauce tasted more like BBQ sauce, which I didn't like but that is a personal opinion. Stunning food & great service! First but not the last! 🫶🏻 Noisy, busy, cafe. Very popular on weekends leading to long waits for food (ours 55 minutes). When the food arrived it was worth waiting for. We'll cooked with generous portions. Relatively expensive too. Don't miss the takeaway chocolate brownies - large and super tasty! I went to Wythmills in Orlingbury for lunch with my retired girls and we had the loveliest time. The food was absolutely amazing fresh, well cooked and generous portions. It’s a lovely spot and I’ll definitely be going back Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
