When it was time to pay, the waitress told us we had to pay in cash and that if we wanted to pay by card, she'd have to add €1 in fees. She didn't give us any explanation; she just said it was €1 in fees for paying by card. Without hesitation, we left without buying the ice cream, realizing they were trying to scam us. It's only €1, but the simple fact of trying to overcharge foreigners seems reason enough to me not to support this business.
