Attended here on Sunday 13th October. First of all a massive shout out to the you have here. Every single person we interacted with on our visit was fantastic. So friendly, attentive and overall great. to get this level of customer service. Thank you. Secondly this place is amazing. Me and my and friends had such an hour or so here. Everything was brilliant. We will definitely be back. My 6 and 9 year old loved their and the adults did too. Easy to find and scenery. Brilliant for kids and adults weather wasn't but the kids still had a ball are very and helpful definitely worth a visit if you have a head for heights would 100% recommend day out. Challenging at times but nothing too strenuous. The were very friendly, helpful and made sure that we were all safe. None of us went full blown ape, just the acceptable level of ape, sub orangutan. Really fun as ever. are all patient, friendly, and set kids' minds at ease. We were behind a slow family, so they let us skip ahead to a free course (on treetop plus), and even though we'd used our hour on the first three courses, they let us onto the 4th. We had a go on the Fort Douglas playground too, and it was tremendous - loads to do! We visited Go Ape Dalkeith and had an time! It's a fantastic place for kids to test their strength and bravery. With three levels of adventures, each progressively more challenging, it kept our kids excited and engaged throughout. The courses are well-designed, ensuring while offering thrilling experiences. The were and supportive, making the whole even more enjoyable. Go Ape Dalkeith is perfect for an action-packed day out. Highly recommended! Excellent adventure. Kids aged 10 and 7 loved every second. We went on the 2nd highest course up to 140cm zip wire at the end of each rope section was a hit! I was very impressed. We received a gift voucher for the children for Christmas, when I saw that my children were too small for the full course I expected the junior course to be much smaller and as such didn't think we as adults would really need to join them - well I regretted that! My children managed it brilliantly but my heart was in mouth! Even the children's course is very high and challenging. It really is superb!!! Ps you need to pay £3 to park! Just so you are not caught out! day out with our 6 and 8 year old girls. Took a couple hours to go round the 4 courses and they loved it, especially zip lining over the river Very staff Highly recomend for the kids and grown ups 🤩🤩 Fantastic setup, really staff. A afternoon's fun. Really both times we have been, are excellent, really helpful and make the better. experience- loved it. Must go. Delicious restaurant too Just back from an day at Go Ape Dalkeith, where we had the best time! Kudos to all of the who were all so kind, and attentive. A fantastic day out for all of the family, looking forward to coming back again soon. Highly recommend. My daughter and her friend came here as a birthday treat. The were really and the briefing was very clear and easy for them to understand. There was no rush for them to go around the courses and they had a brilliant time. It was challenging yet manageable for them. It’s quite pricey, but they had over 2 hours of fun, so was worth it! We came in very poor weather - ice, cold temperatures, rain and sleet. Despite the poor instructors having to sit through this all day (one could no longer wear their gloves as they were soaked through), they were in high spirits and very welcoming. The man in the booth was very well natured and a laugh. All the were but in particular one stood out. The taller blonde lady (apologies to the smaller blonde lady, you were also btw), really really helped support my children. My 2 daughters, my step son and my girlfriend were with me. At separate points of the course, my daughters took complete panics and weren't willing to go on. I have to say that despite my own nature and encouragement to them both, what child listens to their parent when they're terrified haha? This lady was so kind, gentle and patient with them and it took a kind strangers voice with the relatable skills my girls knew that they would have, to coax them into continuing the course. My eldest (age 10) had had enough by the end of part 3, but my youngest (age 7) soldiered on with myself and my stepson (age 8) to complete the course. The positive response I have had from my children completing this and the support from the instructors really brought a tear to my eye. I'm so proud of my daughters after this and you guys helped massively in supporting a team building experience. We are a new family, and my girls lost their little brother a couple of years ago shortly after birth and have had a tough as a result. So I just wanted you to know that even though it seems like such a little everyday repetitive action, it can go really far for families like us. We will be back (probably in the summer 😅), and we will happily spread the word about our here. Keep up the work guys! 👏 Brilliant. 100% worth the money. The were very & helpful and it all felt very safe. There was a briefing first & a practice course to try out. If you changed your mind about doing the after the practice course you could have a full refund. The whole had a brilliant time. Different routes for different levels with some zip-lines. location, some challenging obstacles but superb with course in a lovely setting. Has a variety of obstacles including the option to choose between easier and harder obstacles on rout. All the were lovely, polite and professional. I definitely recommend visiting for an exciting day out. time, wonderful service. So marvelled by how the crew handles de harnesses and the connected with it! day out for my 9 year old! Such a fun day out. This is an excellent Go Ape with options for different ages. It’s also in a lovely park setting and would highly recommend. As a we have visited quiet a number of tree parks in various EU countries. The price levels of Go Ape are remarkebly high (170 GBP for a of 5). Our is that the same thing costs roughly 40% less in other EU countries. Given the high prices we have decided to go for another activity. Duncan and Kirsten were part of an team at Dalkeith Country park. Unfortunately we didn’t get everyone’s names. My son is 8 and thoroughly enjoyed his first Go Ape yesterday. The team were so and encouraging. From the welcome and brief, the encouragement and tips along the way to the final zip line and certificate at the end. They really made our day. The only regret I have is not doing it with my son. We will definitely be back. He wants to go in his birthday party there now. The courses are well designed. The is top notch. The team are such a credit to the experience. We will be back. I cannot thank the team at Dalkeith Go Ape enough. My son has additional support needs and with a couple of phone calls and emails we had a quiet slot to go in. They even sorted someone to support him round. Thank you to Donna and Joe although every member of was lovely also. challenge and made achievable by the team. Thank you 🙏 were great, overall was poor. We paid for the treetop plus which has a hard stop at 1hr. We only managed 3/4 of the routes due to no fault of our own. Other visitors required help which slowed us down a fair bit at multiple times during our visit. Disappointed that we paid full price for 3/4 of the experience. Mentioned this to at the end and it sounds like it was common complaint they face. Me and my daughter had an time, it was our first go ape & we loved every single minute of it! From checking in to getting the brief (with a few jokes included while we we waited for the rest of the group), the whole team were so and always on hand to help and encourage everyone. Honestly I couldn’t recommend it enough & I’m already contemplating booking the Aberfoyle one for us before the schools go back for that longest zip line as it looks phenomenal!! Grandson had wonderful time, and so good. Reassuring to know extra caliber in place.
