Half hour easy up to top. Even using a crutch (in the dry). Good sized free car park. Fantastic as far as the Forth bridges, Tantallon castle, bass rock, gidra, beaches, Fife, etc. Large clamour of rooks (~300 birds) take to the air in the thermals when you get close to them. Good wee walk got to the top in 22 minutes. There is some steep dangerous parts especially for younger children. Dog friendly walk that's not to muddy. Would definitely recommend doing this hill. Had a very fun hike with our puppy to the summit and back. Some parts are harder than others but with a good pair of boots and being cautious will get you through. Worth the climb for the views. Great hike , about 25 Minutes up, not very demanding , I saw small kids out there with dogs, so level easy. Definitely worth going up as are breathtaking. Sometimes it could be very windy, so think about taking a jumper and something to drink. A couple of benches along the way, I suggest to rest before the summit. Great place. magnificent hill. Easy to climb to the top. Stunning views. Wide parking. Brilliant on a clear day! Such beautiful countryside all around. A great walk to the tip and places to sit and take in the beauty. A brilliant walk with a beautiful view. Not too challenging you can't go with the kids but hard enough to make it worthwhile. Free parking and the beautiful town of North Berwick to visit after. Bella passeggiata su un percorso adatto a quasi tutti. Una volta in cima si apre un paesaggio a 360 gradi. Consigliatissimo. Worth the effort, there’s plenty of spots to stop and if you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of the wild ponies that roam. Now, to be realistic, I am not the fittest of people - it took me around 50 mins up and 30 down. A lot of people say this is an easy climb but I would say it’s moderate for the average person, but for someone who climbs hills and mountains on a regular, this is breezy. I have a friend who took the steepest route up and he managed it in 15 mins!! Overall, it’s a steady incline for the first half, then the next quarter gets a little steeper and a short scramble to the top on the last quarter. Easy walk to the summit but 20 mins or so, amazing view of Berwick from the top, if your lucky you will get some horses approach for a good photo op. If the weather's good give it ago. It's worth it for the view over North Berwick and the coastline plus countryside. Taking in the and enjoying allow just about 2 hours can be done quicker.
