Amazing viewing spot - highly recommended!! You have to walk through the forest for 200m to get to it. It takes around 40 minutes to get there from my place. There’s a parking spot before you enter the premises. Unfortunately, they are doing some works so you have to take a detour to reach the viewing platform which is longer than the usual route. The views up there are magnificent you can see the picturesque esch sauer. If desired, there are several walking trails that you can do. Great spot for picnic with family or a walk alone. Wildlife can be heard and seen. Comfortable shoes are a must. Plan well in advance. Mind-blowing. I parked at Insenborg Plage 2 and walked 10 minutes or so to the platform and a further 10 to the beaches. This place is incredible. Luxembourg took my heart with this observation deck. The views are unreal. You can walk further to the beaches where people were swimming, paddleboarding, fishing and just enjoying their evening. I wish I had stayed for hours and soaked it all in. I am coming back to Luxembourg for this. Great spot, you can take hiking trail around. Great views! Ample parking. Did not go through any more of the park or follow the trails this time around, but can imagine it being a great place for a walk. Nice but no services. Difficult to go to the beach of the lake.
