Was exploring Echternach on a sunny Saturday and looking for a restaurant to have lunch. Saw this restaurant, their terrace was full so that's a good sign! We ordered lamb pie, the bomb! Lamb was juicy and tender. Also had gyros, tasty. Fast service with friendly staff. Don't go there for food. When you walk into a dining room, you hope for a gastronomic adventure, but what awaited us here was more of a culinary misstep. The salad arrived on the table with a careless presentation, as if the chef had thrown it together in a fit of indifference. For the exorbitant price (17 €), we at least expected the salad to make our taste buds dance – instead, it was as exciting as a Monday morning. The burger (16 €) also unfortunately failed to win our hearts. Flavor-wise, it was flatter than a pancake, and I'm sure a piece of cardboard would have had more zest. It was as if the chef had decided to leave out the salt and spices entirely from the recipe. The prices? Outrageous! (7€ for 0,25 Liter of warm Guinness!) You would have thought I had ordered a gourmet experience, but instead, I got an expensive lesson in the art of disappointment. Overall, the visit to this restaurant was a costly pleasure that was anything but. My conclusion: I certainly won't be dining here ever again. Also, it seems as if the owner has changed and just kept this google-location with the good ratings. Can't tell much about the food, because I went there to grab a few pints of Guinness Lovely pub, comfy and helpful staff. Didn't eat here but the food looked good! X We had a good bar food. Lonely Guinness pump handle the last bit of Irish 1st time in Luxembourg, and we kind of randomly found this pub. And my goodness, one of the best pubs I've ever been to, the staff was very helpful and nice. And the food. My god. I ordered the steak, 2 others the cordon bleu, and 1 ordered pasta. From the first bite to the last. The best steak I ever had. Would come back to Luxembourg just to dine here again.
