Beautiful ruins perched on a hill with amazing views of nature. You can actually drive your car to the entrance, there is room for maybe 4 or 5 cars at the top. to enter. Dogs welcome. You can circle around the and climb the tower for great views. Highly recommend. Beautiful view. Amazing trails. There are parking lots in the village, from where you can start a trail towards the or just max 10 minute directly to the castle. Absolutely stunning. Love this ruin!! Very tastefully preserved. Altijd super om te bezoeken, zeker in de periode van Halloween These runes looks really good It is entrance with little visit path But only open from 01/04 to 30/10 Because the info on Google maps wasn't updated, I drove here and kissed the door. This thing is is opened for public between April and October, so I was only able to look on the outside. And it is a lot to like here, massive on top of the hill, tho view is not great from up there. I will update my score once I see it on the inside. It's a beautiful in an amazing, surreal hilly area. It feels like being in a fairytale. It's closed this time of the year, but that does not matter. You can drive right up to the gates, there is parking for about 5 cars or park in the pretty village and up. The 12th century ruins are lovely to be able to around and have boardwalks installed to help you get to places you would normally only get to see from afar. It’s open 9am - 6pm and is to enter. We even got to meet the owner as he came to lock up at 6pm. I’ve never met anyone before who owns a castle. Well worth a visit. Amazing that's off the beaten path! No crowds and you can take your time and just enjoy walking through history. No one was there when we visited. Definitely worth the trip. And it is to visit. Very beautiful ruin. You can climb the stairs in the tower to the top for a stunning view of the area. It's a ruin. Access is on foot no real parking. Unless you ride the gravel street up to the by bike. No entry fee. Beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere Brandenburg is a hidden gem with stunning views and a quiet, historic charm. If you're driving, Google Maps will guide you to a fork in the road—take the right fork and head uphill. After a sharp curve, you'll reach the entrance. There's limited parking (space for about 3–5 cars), but it’s usually enough. The is to enter during regular hours (10:00–16:00), though these are seasonal, so check ahead. Two portable toilets are available on-site, which is a nice touch for such a remote location. Overall, a great spot for a short visit, some photos, and a peaceful through history. When parking, just keep driving even though it looks like you cant go on, you can. We parked in front of the gate and explored the beautiful Really accessible ruined castle. It’s been a long time since I visited a that offered so much access. And entrance. Well done! The only thing was actually finding where to park and access. It’s not really advertised or signed in the village. I parked beside the road (haaptstrooss, north/above the caste and found a path down to the castle). A beautiful ruin. Drive all the way up to the ruins Beautiful free. Lots of interestingnsigns about the archeology Ich finde es schade. Gratis entree. Kleine parkeer mogelijkheid. Wij zijn zelf gelopen. Nice castle, access (until the 31st of October). You can around freely and see the ruins and the tower, from where you have a bit of a scenic view. It is only a 5 minutes from the bus stop. I went there in Halloween season and it had Halloween decorations, funny touch even though it may take away some of the historical immersion for some, I guess Prachtige omgeving om te wandelen of fietsen(wel redelijk stijle hellingen) Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
