Here you can see the last stretch of the River Wye as it passes Chepstow. Surrounded by striking limestone cliffs and ancient woodland, it's truly a stunning area to take in. A pretty riverside that is also the southern end of the Wales Coastal Path. Tranquil riverside beauty spot, located on the River Wye, with the Old Chepstow Bridge, and Chepstow Castle combined in a beautiful vista. Fantastic Riverside with plenty to do (recommended especially during Chepstow Wassail) and with lotz if history and good pubs Enjoyed a stroll having come from the town centre. Unfortunately it was raining so I couldn't take much notice of the objects of interest. This is a lovely little park on the bank of the River Wye in the Welsh Town of Chepstow it’s a great place to sit and relax with views across the River Wye and the park itself...There is a bandstand set in the park for musical events Lovely place to relax by the river. Market on Sundays in the town. (may need to check monthly or weekly.) Nice place to explore and visit. River was peaceful 😌 Such an amazing park for all friends and family. Located on the bank of the River Wye, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy the sights and nature of Wales. I would’ve found it more relaxing however there were some Jet skiers on the River Wye during our visit which was quite frustrating. Regardless, it’s a beautiful place to enjoy the day! There’s a bandstand nearby that occasionally performs musical events (there were none during our visit however). Plenty of history too! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Nice little town. In sunny day it gave me some holidays vibes Lovely spot for a walk day or evening. Great for spotting wildlife, or for having a drink outside one of the pubs/bars in the summer months. Also very close to Chepstow Castle. You can also walk across the bridge from Wales to England!
