A few new bits of gym equipment are there, it's been moved around a little but works well, it's relatively cheap, and the staff are brilliant. Really helpful with expert knowledge, the staff have helped me build training programs to suit my needs, even with specific requirements. I generally use the gym and the pool, but also have spin classes amongst loads of other activities. Hopefully the council signoff on the facelift soon. Used nappies on the benches, muddy and absolutely soaking floor. Was like this when we arrived for the session (waiting for the pool to open so they hadn't been cleaned between sessions) and just as bad when we left 2 hours later. Unfortunately this leisure centre is trapped in the 90s, from the building to the equipment. With no other option in caldicot it is evident the lack of investment. I'm looking forward to any kind of upgrade sooner than later. Great staff lovely leisure centre ,use the pool on a regular basis This is an outstanding fitness facility. The fitness instructors have far more fitness knowledge than most of the people who work in private gyms. Each class is different, as it isn't like some of the monotonous Les Mill classes, that only change after 6 months. The gym is well equipped and it has a really friendly feel to it. Everyone is welcoming, helpful, informative and friendly. You come out of the gym with a smile on your face, feeling you have accomplished something. Great facilities but squash courts need a thorough revamp. Not well looked after, paint peeling off walls. Also showers in dry section constantly too hot to use and not adjustable. Have mentioned to staff many times but nothing ever gets done. Great squash courts but the changing room always looks like its in need of a pressure wash and good clean. Staff are welcoming and friendly and helpful It's a gym. Has the equipment I need. The lady at my first induction was incredibly helpful. Not sure how it compares to other gyms in the area. Not too busy during the day. Very difficult to book onto a pilates or yoga class as they seem to fill up incredibly rapidly.
