The place was clean and tidy but no ice to make Frappuccino. There was only one male staff doing everything but he did the best he could. Facilities on offer are very good but the level of cleanliness needs addressing. Lots of litter laying around both inside and out making everywhere feel scruffy and considering it's fairly new lets the location down. Needed coffee and food. Starbucks 'closed for lunch'. Rarely go to Starbucks. Won't ever go again. Lovely starbucks, I never see anyone sitting in but like myself I always get a takeaway when travelling. Staff area always helpful and polite. They never have much on display as in cakes but that may be items are sold out or they've not done there morning display. Coffee is always banging though. We felt sorry for the one staff member. This Starbucks is inside a larger services area and has such the number of visitors is quite large. To have one staff member was poor because he had to take orders and then make the drinks whilst the queue kept growing. Couldn't fault the products but service was poor. The Starbucks at Monmouth Services is a gem! The baristas were super friendly, whipping up my coffee order quickly and perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy, clean, and inviting, making it a great spot for a quick break. Service was top-notch, and the drinks were consistently delicious. Highly recommend stopping by for a refreshing pick-me-up! If your in a hurry, avoid this starbucks! Unless your the 1st person in tge que then expect to be waiting a while. Several times I've had to walk away empty handed because I haven't got time to be listening to a full blown conversation 🙃 Left standing at an empty counter for three minutes. Eventually a very miserable boy comes out and asks me what I want by saying "Yes?" I order my coffee which he tells me is ready by mumbling"Latte" and then walks out the shop and service station leaving me all alone in the shop. There is no cinnamon,the side is a mess,the bins are full to the top and covered in flies. Several minutes later he returns. I ask-" Do you have any cinnamon?" to which he replies "No" without even looking at me and carries on into the back of the shop. Rude and unprofessional. Avoid. If this is what it's like at the front of shop I can only imagine how bad it must be at the back. Terrible.
