Massive park, very clean and silent. No allowed, but I guess that's how you keep everything clean Was nice No allowed Beautiful and play area, football pitches and huge playground with lots of facilities Great place for football. Lovely place for kids to play outside A great open community space with a skate park, children's parks and small patches of woodland to explore for flowers and wildlife as you wander around the outside path. This path is also marked out for 1km run/ walk. The is is secure in that there are exits dotted around the outside but all have swing gates so safe for and children. The only gate always open is the main one to the car (locked in thr evening). Play has one entrance/ exit and has a good variety of games and equipment for the very young to maybe pre-teens. We go early so no one else is there which helps. No facilities on site (toilets/ cafe) ..I don't know if that's just currently during covid times so worth taking a flask and snacks. Weekly football training is always good as site is kept in good condition, only slight gripe is parking can be limited. Following rain the grassed areas are soft, but the pitches look in good condition. The play areas were useable when we took the grandchildren there on Sunday. The council is currently making significant improvements to facilities for exercise and games in the park. Lovely local park, fairly quiet. plenty of green space and a decent wander around the paths. Good okay equipment for kids of different ages. Has a little car for those coming from slightly further away Nice playing fields. But NO unlike what it says on here Its a really good place to walk and run, No policy, really loved it because i am very scared of dogs. Most amazing thing is its having running zone separately which really encourages me to run and achieve more km. I would really recommend my friend n family to go n visit, clean place👏👏 It is our first time to be here. It shows on Google Map that are allowed but in fact it is not. Photo attached and hope Google Map can amend the info accordingly.
