It’s not a beach or place to swim but such a lovely walking path and views My wife and I visited here a week ago - right after we indulged ourselves with lunch, we walked all the way along the pathway under the bridge, almost as far as The Pill (I refer to what's known shown on Google Maps). Walking under the Prince of Wales made for good photographing. See attached pics, and a panoramic shot where I managed to fit in two bridges in the same pic! Nice view of the bridge. The town has a long stretch beach, which is perfect for sunbathing and walking. One of the main attractions of Severn Beach is the Severn Bridge. The is a suspension that spans the River Severn. It is the longest suspension in the United Kingdom and one of the most iconic landmarks in the Bristol area. The Beach is also a popular spot for birdwatching. The town is located on the edge of the Severn Estuary, which is a major bird migration route. During the spring and autumn, thousands of birds can be seen flying overhead. Nice for photography very nice view Severn Beach is nothing more than a small town, however it does have a fantastic walk along the River Severn sea wall. This forms part of the Severn Way. There is also a cafe. A lovely walk and fresh air. Not much to see really except the Not worth a visit. Signs indicate things that aren’t there eg This is where a paddling pool USED to be. Which means there really isn’t a lot to see. Funny old place. Good views of the bridge. Gentle walk between the bridges is nice I visited Severn Beach in August, I feel so refreshed and relaxed walking around the beach. Highly recommend it! And I probably will come back to watch the sunset in Autumn:) Good place if you're looking for a walk in the sunset. There is a fair length of paved path right on the edge of the water that you can follow. You can see both bridges from here as well as Wales just across. The water is dirty, I would not recommend going in it. Great for a long level walk or bike ride for kids. Three lovely cafes It’s such a lovely place, came here with my friends and we had so much fun muddy but as along as you bring extra shoes it’s not a big problem definitely recommend Quiet and peaceful place... No sands though We visit Shirley's cafe every week with family and friends and have enjoyed it every time. But recently we ordered a toastie which we always find delicious. When it arrived it had been cooked in a sandwich toaster. Unfortunately it was wafer thin and no filling . Please Shirley's could you go back to toasting under the grill so we can enjoy our toasties once again.
