Friendly and efficient staff especially as the bar was very busy. Came down from Builth Wells to visit grandson went into three horse shoes by chance and was really impressed with th whole experience. We were made very welcome and the service and food were first class and very reasonably priced will definitely visit again pub, home cooked food, plenty of staff and very clean. Landlord very friendly and engaging with customers. Menu prices are very reasonable, can't be faulted. I would say you need to book, even on a tuesday evening it was busy! Had a week day lunch here when my sister visited after having recommendations. Certainly wasn't disappointed it was fantastic and we will be returning to try more. Thankyou. Highly recommend What a welcoming place. Came for a day date and this place was recommended. The owner was so and accommodating and we had a lunch. It was recommended the home made steak and ale pie so we had one of those and a home made beef cheese burger. We also had a starter of pate and toast and whitebait and it was for me the pie and the burger were the stars of the show and they shined!! You can tell it was all home made and tasted so good and comforting. We will definitely visit again and I’ve continued to recommend since our visit. The pub itself was and welcoming, the staff were wonderful and very attentive, and the food was delicious. Even the other customers were really interactive and sociable. The let down was that was nothing there for babies, no highchairs, no baby changing facilities. When I had to change my Grandson I was taking to an outhouse that was used to play darts. It was a real let-down on an otherwise experience with good food. A beautiful meal at our local to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. Staff were very friendly and the service was excellent.
