Food was amazing, it came quickly, tasted yummy, and had a perfect serving size. To add on, the outdoor seating had the most spectacular view of the lavender fields and valley. I definitely recommend this place for a pleasant sit down dinner. Must try orange juice and tiramisu as well it tasted delectable. I absolutely love this place!!! The owner is the nicest and sweetest guy ever, the wine overflows, and the food is amazing. I recommend the chicken Caesar salad (my fav) or the seafood pasta. Pair it with a glass or pitcher of Rosè (also my fav) then finish off with a tiramisu. I’ve been eating here almost everyday and I simply cannot get enough!! food at great prices! Perfectly crispy batter, flaky fresh fish, and great fries. The pizza was spot on too. We finished with a top-notch crème brûlée—creamy with that perfect caramelized top. Service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience even better. Amazing views from terrase. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area! Fish was smelly, paired with french fries, muscles were ok, but very heavy on stomach, served with rice.. maybe I dont understand the quisine, but pairing and plating seemed strange to me and not a very good. It was also not possible to order any appetizers unless they were in the menu. For payment and coffee we waited for a very long time. Waiters were avoiding eye contact. Terrase is however. Visit to Lacoste on a day cycling around Provence. Service excellent, menu with a selection to please all. I went for the Plat du Jour which was very and a non alcoholic cocktail. They filled up our water bottles which made the difference cycling back. Lacoste was a surprise and well worth a visit. I wish I could write a better review. We had made a reservation but the waiter did not seem to know this. To be fair, we didn’t have to wait and were seated straight away and eventually he came to confirm. Service was not that friendly and the younger waiter who served us was very pleasant and tried hard but we got the wrong drink to start with and then the bread basket was bought to the table just as we were finishing our meal. He did seem confused a lot of the time with which table had ordered what! The food was ok and we both unusually chose pizza. The base was a little too thick and my wife’s white pizza had a burnt base yet under the topping seemed undercooked. The restaurant is in a good location and popular but probably as there are only three restaurants / cafes to choose from. I am sorry to say that my recommendation is that if you are driving anyway it is worth going somewhere else. We decided to sit there for lunch on a whim, just because I liked the menu of the day they offered. It turned out to be an excellent choice. We got a hearty portion of really good beef goulash; the meat was soft, tender and the sauce really well seasoned - one of the best goulash dishes I’ve eaten at a restaurant. Included in the set was a desert of choice for which we got a hot chocolate cake served with ice cream and whipped cream. Apart from that we enjoyed an amazing view from the terrace on Bonnieux, the neighboring village on a hill. Our waitress was also very nice.
