Had a fantastic day here today with the family. It was free entry on Wednesday morning so that's a real bonus to start with. The carpark is quite spacious with several disabled parking spaces provided. Upon entering you are greeted warmly by the very polite and offered as much or little assistance as you require. It had a very atmosphere and is without doubt kid friendly. You can sit inside at a table with a comfortable chair or outside at trackside with a good offering of seats or standing room. It is setup for either a seasoned pro or like us, a bunch of wet behind the ear amateurs! If you unsure of the betting process it will be kindly explained for you. You can download the race card with all thr times and dogs running along with a brief race history free of charge beforehand on their website or grab a physical copy inside. Simple and easy example is if you like the look or on our case, the name of the dog you can bet as little a £1 for either a win or 50p each way (comes in 1st or 2nd) then ut makes it a tad better but not pricey too. All the seemed very polite and and extremely professional throughout. The only not so one was the bloke who was on the tractor leveling the sabd who when my boys waved just fave a disgruntled glare back. Maybe he just sees his job going round and round.... That aside we all had a fantastic day, the food is a tad pricey for what it is however it was very tasty. Yes it's clear from the outset it's more than a tad run down and could use a large cash injection to spruce it up but it's not dilapidated nor derelict. The mens loos were clean but needs new flooring and a good lick of paint. Do you need a load of money to come here, no. Is it a place to come as a group, couple or family yes. It's for all ages but remember it's over 18s only to place a bet but you can take one up as a representative for the little ones. This really us a place, handy location and only lost a star due to the slight scruffy feel to it. Very highly recommended though and looking for to visiting again soon. A really fun evening with the family. The were all super friendly, and my kids can't wait to go again. 100% recommend What a stadium! Small but clearly loved by the who are hard working and so friendly. Greyhound racing is sadly on the decline in the UK but this little gem was well worth the visit. The prices were for food and drink, so would be a cheaper night out for families than most stadiums we've been to. Definitely recommended. Use them or lose them! Absolutely had a ball here. There were about 12 of us on 2 tables. If you're like me and not into the bar hoping/nightclubs, I highly recommend it here. The atmosphere was buzzing! Even though we lost countless races, it was definitely worth it for an evening out. Awesome day out with the kids. We went to the Friday morning session. First race at around 11 with last about 2.30. Kids had an awesome time chosing their dogs and then cheering them along track side. The were all amazing and so friendly. It was a family atmosphere which helped with the kids getting excited with cheering on the dogs and their wins. They even have a board about rehoming the dogs which they were very keen on us bringing one home 🙈 Great couple of hours and will be back next holidays. entertainment for the grand children and a warm welcome given by all the staff Entering is free on a Wednesday AM also Monday AM and Monday PM check the web site Had a really good night here. £15 ticket on Friday evening which included dinner (a burger & chips - there was other options), a free drink (anything but a double) & 1 free bet. Food was decent & drinks were reasonably priced. Can place as little as 50p bets (it is cash for the bets but you can get cash back at the bar if needed). You get a table inside and then can go outside to watch the races. Definitely recommend, it was really good fun. Enjoyed the visit, pleasant and reasonable prices at the bar. However the guy running a 180% book should be ashamed of himself! Pretty disgraceful, absolutely ripping off the punters. Just wanted to thank at Harlow greyhound stadium for helping me on Friday 13th as had the worst day ever, managed to get myself locked out from job near by with all my car keys, house keys, purse inside building but thank you to friendly, helpful and an amazing gentleman ( sorry don’t know your name ) that tried his best to get me back in was able to get back home because of there kindness. Amazing team.
