Went with my son & grandson. A place, plenty of things for children to do. My grandson really enjoyed the climbing and the sandpit area. Dogs are allowed in the park, theg must be on a lead, but not the childrens area. Would recommend 👌 Love walking my dog here ❤️ park! Good amount of space, you'll find various children's facilities, toilets, an ice cream van (weather dependent), plenty of fallen trees for to climb on and hills to roll down - as well as a small manmade stream for to paddle in. There's a large lake with swans and ducks, and if you're needing refreshments, there's a pub and a coffee shop at one side. Not sure if there's an official car but we managed to find somewhere free on one of the side streets. Great with something for everyone in the family. Big with lots to keep entertained for a long time. Good spread of lawns and beautiful pond with ducks. Toilets were very clean too. The parking though can be difficult to find which isn't necessarily a bad thing as it limits the no. of people at any given time. Great for both young and teens, we had a great time. We'll maintained grassy areas which were great for a game of football. Would definitely recommend Great park. It's came on leaps and bounds since I was a kid. Massive and a nice little cafe on the side, ice cream van is often in the and a pub nearby too so plenty of choice. There's a little water feature also which is a bit grubby but good for refreshing the feet A nice little with a area, pond or two and outdoor gym stations, among other things. Has a great carved tree trunk with some really detailed work. 👍 Toilets available by a small car park. Nice with a lot of facilities to keep the engaged. An outdoor gym is available for those who want to workout. The is dog friendly. It is very well maintained and clean. Lots of equipment to keep the happy. And very nice to he able to watch the birds on the water. Very good for children, the section for little ones is separate. includes adult fitness area. Small lake complete with lots of swans and when I visited. Finally, there's an excellent cake and coffee shop (vintage bird cage) which usually has a sit down area, but not during the lockdown. We love this park; so much variety and more challenging equipment for older children. We always take bird seed to feed the ducks, moorhens and swans (and pigeons!) who live on the large lake behind the playground. The cafe is and there is usually an icecream van there too. The water is fab in the summer (photos show it switched off as it is October), my girls can spend hours playing in it. There is a smallish concrete basketball court which doubles as a football pitch which is very popular. I love the logs dotted around which have been intricately carved with native species. Well worth a visit and definitely one of my favourite Children’s parks in Bristol/South Glos. Small, beautiful, award winning park, a popular space and great example of how a town can really work for a community with a pond, area, exercise equipment and an adjoining pub and cafe. Limited parking, but only a short walk from Yate shopping centre parking which gives a few hours free. Though ensure you don't over stay if parking there. It's a suprisngly space for all the family to enjoy. A quiet with beautiful atmosphere. Amazing place, ducks, lake and playground. with lots of things of interest. A Vast children's area, with different sections for different ages. and Swans on the Lake, plenty of seating and open spaces for picnics. Really pleasant. It’s a place to go and have a picnic or in the with a nice cafe just outside of the park. And it’s a place to let you relax dog run freely. It’s nice to be able to walk around the lake and sit and watch the ducks/swans.
