So we decided to put our car on a boat and cross over to Messina and drive 3 hours to visit this shop and luckily it was worth it 😁😁. I found the pastry shop on Instagram and really wanted to try such tempting desserts. when I came in I didn't know what to order first. I haven't seen such tempting desserts in a really long time. We’ve been following Calogero Latino on Instagram for a long time and finally decided to place an order. We got 1x Panettone, 1x Sbrisolona, and the Magic Box. The Panettone was wonderfully soft, moist, and not dry at all. The filling? Absolutely heavenly! The Sbrisolona was just as we imagined – incredibly delicious. The Magic Box included Code d’Aragosta, Rame di Napoli, and another pastry, all of which were absolutely delightful. The delivery took quite a long time (to Austria), but we assume this was due to the holiday season (Christmas and New Year). We ordered on December 13, 2024, and it arrived on January 2, 2025 – nearly 3 weeks. In a previous order (not during the holidays), it took around 2 weeks. Despite the long delivery time, we will definitely order again! A must-try for every fan! I am very disappointed with the products shipped. Both are broken because they were not packaged well. For this price I would have expected more. Communication about the current status was also a disaster. Information could have been given out that the goods would only be shipped in colder temperatures. All in all a disaster. We had just completed our days walk on the Magna Via Francigena and were looking forward to a coffee and cold drink. We found much, much more here. The array of cakes, cannoli and biscuits was huge, and the items that incorporated their cream tasted amazing. The ladies serving us were so friendly and helpful and really interested in where we were from. I can't recommend more highly what a great cafe this is. Thank you for a memorable visit. This place has the best cornettos we’ve ever had – absolutely delicious! Everything with here is just amazing. The owners and staff are super friendly, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. If you love pistachio, this is a must-visit spot. We can’t get enough of it! We arrived especially to this place to taste all of their desserts. What can we say… it’s the best of the best. A very unique place for lovers. The guy who runs this place is so nice, pleasant, and welcomed us in the best way. It was definitely worth the ride and please - if you go there don’t miss the crepe!
