The have clearly had much fun creating these magical & emotionally relevant spaces, sheer peace and quiet can be found here & we'll certainly spend more time here again instead of just a passing visit! Super friendly & inspiring (& doggos), please go and it's for such great causes & you'll have plenty of fun, especially with children! A very place to visit. There is no café, souvenirs or shop. You pay your entrance fee, which goes to charity, then you are left alone to explore. And what a wonderful to explore. Incredible oasis of beauty and peace up on the moor land. A delight round every corner. Full of creativity and whimsy. A must if you are in the area. The are friendly and welcoming. A warm and friendly welcome. Fantastic structures and sculptures. Wonderful varied gardens. Great chats with the and fusses with their dogs Fantastic spot to visit. The gardens are beautiful and a real labour of love. Great planting. Added bonus was a dragon seeking adventure for kids and plenty of interesting areas and buildings for them to explore. Highly recommend Approached along a narrow single-lane track, we weren’t quite sure what to expect—but what a hidden gem awaited us! We were given such a warm welcome by the (and their very friendly dogs), and happily made a worthwhile donation to charity to explore the garden. As you wander through, the gradually reveals itself as a true delight—there’s something different, surprising, and imaginative around every corner. The creativity and skill that’s gone into designing and maintaining it is truly impressive. It’s definitely somewhere to if you're in the area. We visited as a couple but children will especially enjoy the sense of adventure and discovery. Thank you for opening your and allowing us to experience such a special place. Fantastic even out of season, with various sculptures and musical instruments to try out! There's even a dragon trail for children (great fun to tick the photos when you find the dragons). Lots of quirky features like a cave, stone circle, lake and pond. It is accessed down a single lane road and some of the trails can be a bit damp underfoot so wear appropriate shoes. The is a work of many decades with some features in progress like a pirate ship! I visited this incredible place today, and it truly left an impression on me. Jim and Gay, who have lovingly cared for it since 1974, have created something so special — a place full of creativity, warmth, and wonder. They were both so friendly and welcoming, and it was wonderful to hear them speak with such excitement and passion about how they built and shaped everything over the 50 years they've been there. From the enchanting dragon trail for children to the beautifully crafted buildings, the peaceful pond full of lilypads and water lillies, and the stunning sculptures, every corner is filled with imagination and heart. It’s a magical, inspiring place that everyone should experience. Thank you for opening your space for everyone to enjoy! I was mesmerised by the amazing, beautiful garden! The amount of effort and work done to create this amazing of paradise certainly made it worth coming! The were both amazing and very lovely, and the area was suitable for all ages! The lemon drizzle cake was deliciously good and most certainly great quality, and it was for the owner to go above and beyond to provide alternative drinks for someone who doesn't like tea or coffee. I would certainly recommend this place to others and will certainly be here again, on my own or with family! Thank you! On a side note, please be aware that there are dogs on site ( which I loved seeing ☺️ ) for people who may have issues regarding dogs! They are very indeed and very cuddly ☺️ ! Jim and Gay, creators of this enchanted are out of this world! The blood, sweat and tears they have put in their paradise must have been unimaginable! This is the of all gardens and they made if just for the public to admire!! If you are in the area please them! Trust me it will bring you so much joy and bring so many childhood memories back!! What a Magical place! like stepping into fairy world. So much creativity and love here. The are very welcoming and lovely, and spent time showing us their latest projects. Very interesting. Had the best time despite the heavy rain ! So beautiful, many flowers, the art work and designed landmarks are out of this world. Also the unique instruments and steampunk art make this an unforgettable experience. Amazing place to would definitely recommend, we really enjoyed learning their story and how they built the whole place from the ground up. Their hospitality was also brilliant and was very accommodating - they were more than happy to guide us where to look and the facts about each area. I would highly recommend coming here and seeing this beautiful place their hard work has really paid off and deserves the recognition!
