Had a fab day! We did the half day and it exceeded my expectations (and they were high)! Steve and Hannah are extremely knowledgable, personable and experienced. We were introduced to two different owls (tawny and barn) and 3 hawks (kestral, Harris, and a Gyrfalcon hybrid). The was extremely hands on and interactive. It was a small group and they made sure we all had plenty of time with each bird. It was an excellent and a good value for the price. What an absolutely brilliant and beautiful it was spending half a day with the guys at Forest Falconry handling owls, hawks and kestrels. It was so much fun and really interesting and educational to learn about the different gorgeous birds. The instructors Steve and Hannah were fantastic! Steve especially with his hilarious sense of humour made it a great highlight. Banter was flying around constantly which made it even more entertaining. But on a serious note the passion from these two for the and nature was incredible and a pleasure to see. I would absolutely definitely recommend anyone to go and Forest Falconry. It’s an incredible day where you can and appreciate these animals up close and learn a thing or two on the way aswell. We will definitely return again soon to meet the other birds.
