One of the employees provided an initial overview then we were free to take the self-guided tour around the exterior of the facility. The mosaics are in good condition given their age and it was fun to read the signboards as we worked our way through the tour. Very educational. Recommend. Ruins of a vast villa with baths, heating system and some impressive mosaics. A mediaeval church is built on part of the site, the monks used stone from the villa. Website clearly states opening times but I arrived on Thursday 15th February 2024 at 10:30 to find place is closed. French gardener says closed on Thursday - Thankyou for a wasted journey and kindly update your website !! Well presented site, with friendly, helpful staff.
