Abbey itself is impressive but too modern for my liking. The however is delicious, made by nuns Fromage is delicious 😋 Went to buy there famous trappe cheese. Was unable to visit any of the abbey just the church. Could not see any of the famous nuns working. Instead we got to visit the abbey's shop where they were selling there famous which was mouldy. Great 5mins visit. Not big is nice ok to take a look round on the way back from another place there is picnic places nice and quiet The is to die for, a Gouda soaked in famous Dordogne walnut oil in wooden tanks linked grape stomping but by naked nuns dancing around the blocks of curd, perhaps better than vineyard grape stomping. The Trappist Sisters made a beautiful home for God, in honor of our Blessed Mother. He must be so pleased. The Abbaye makes a perfect place to be in the real presence of God, either alone or with a group. Just so peaceful It's a tranquil place with a shop The abbey has many restrictions for access There's no actual making here it seems Nice place for a picnic though.
