Phenomenal venue, lovely lay out, it was lovely and cosy for a winter wedding, grounds are good for photos, bridal getting ready is lovely and big with great natural light. I photography an amazing very recently at this incredibly venue. It's full of incredible locations, the atmosphere is brilliant and all of the staff are so great. I'd definitely recommend this as a if you're lucky for a rustic location. Wow. We held our here back in March 2025 and can confirm that The Byre at Inchyra truly is the most magical venue. From the first meeting we were put at ease, Tim was a delight to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. We hired the for the whole weekend and made use of the cottages on site for the party to stay in. We received excellent communication and even used some of the Byre’s recommended suppliers, they all worked together beautifully and really brought our ideas to life! We were even welcomed with open arms when we asked to bring alpacas along for the day! 😅 Attended a here yesterday which was simply stunning! The is beautiful, the staff very helpful and friendly, especially the Barman Steven who was amazing and never seemed to let a Prosecco glass go empty! The barn looks big enough for 100+ guests but it’s also ideal for a smaller rustic county We had our at the Byre in late 2024, and can honestly say it was one of the best days of our lives. From choosing the byre a few years earlier, we knew it was such a special venue. Tim and the showed us around and we loved the grounds, and cosy set-up that was also big enough to allow us not to have any ‘set changes’ during the day - everything was perfect. We had to move our date and the Byre were so flexible. They were always contactable with even silly wee questions and the website where you can hire additional furniture/tea lights etc made the planning stage much easier. James was always available via email to answer any questions we might rev about the venue. Their choice of suppliers makes it easier to decide who to pick in such a big market of caterers, and we were not disappointed by Lazy Sunday who provided us with an amazing feast on our day. Similarly they work with a bar who were amazing - even getting us in an IPA which we loved and doing his/hers cocktails. Set-up the day before was so easy with Tim letting us in from early afternoon, and it was great to be able to see all my months of planning come to life! On the day, Tim and the were always on-hand and helped our celebrant and caterer with timings, lights and sparklers. The accommodation was the perfect place to stay the night before, and the bridal suite was huge - even big enough for my 6 bridesmaids and hair and makeup!! We were able to have a margarita truck out front who had been to the before with no issues and only support from the team. Our photos in the gorgeous grounds were amazing. Our guests all told us how impressed they were with the and how and well set up it was. Our day was perfect and we couldn’t imagine having had it anywhere else! This has it all, from its romantic, beautifully kept walled garden to the intimate, cosy fairy lit barn. With the gorgeous gardens you are spoilt for choice with photos locations and a backdrop for ceremonies. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating all day which just added to the magic of this venue. My husband Kees and I got married in October at the Byre and it was the best day of our lives, so far :) If you are lucky enough to find availability at this do not hesitate in booking it. The at the Byre are incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. The is a blank canvas which means they let you create the vision of your day your way, however you like. We opted for an indoor forest with a million candles and fairy lights! And when you need support they have a whole book full of helpful recommended suppliers which means you know you're getting the best possible service and quality, they also have the Byre shop where you can order everything you need to turn the into a candle lit fairy wonder land. But even without decoration this rustic barn is simply stunning on it's own, without any make-up. The lighting and sound system will have you dancing all night with a set up more likely found at a concert. I am a content writer and yet I find it hard to put into words how wonderful this and its are, this is what they do, and they do it well. I also highly recommend booking some of their on site cottages and bridal suite for getting ready, it really added to our day. Hannah and Kees Postma (married at the Byre 08.10.22) xx The Byre at Inchyra was only the second we viewed, easiest decision ever as we booked it on the spot during our viewing and I'm so glad we did - General Manager, Tim Swan was on hand from then on providing quick replies to all our enquiries until after our big day. The Byre is a luxury barn - we didn't feel the need to add on loads of additional decor (even though you're welcome to) because it's simply as it is with it's twinkly fairy lights and uplighters. The barn itself is gorgeous, and those famous doors, so lovely!! We were lucky enough to have our ceremony in the walled garden which is a very special wee place. The aisle among the (very long) apple orchard feels utterly magical to walk down before getting married - WOW. However, had it been raining, the space indoors is great as well. Our guests all had so much fun, some of them even camped - we got married on a Wednesday and were able to book the STUNNING on site accommodation which helped prolong our celebrations with our nearest and dearest, and provided us with a sense of calm throughout our wedding, being able to nip across from the Barn to the Bridal Suite (which is just by the way), was a nice little touch. Our details will stay in our hearts forever, and the Byre helped making it so special. Do not hesitate in booking, you'll have zero regrets!
