Lovely little pastry and tea shop on Sarlat's main street, with seating outside and in. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a bottle of local Sarlat beer whilst my wife had a couple of glasses of hot chocolate (€3 a glass). I had a salmon quiché accompanied by a green olive oil salad, which was very nice. A little early in the day for us, but they serve breakfast menus which include coffee and croissant. We sat and relaxed for an hour or so, watching the world go by. Level 9 Google reviewer; 1,000 plus reviews with nearly 2 million views and over 12,000 photos with over 55 million views and still going strong 💪. Check out my other reviews 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟. A wonderful Salon de The and patisserie. Delightful for goodies to take home or for a refreshment stop in the heat of the day. Just the kind of place you need to recoup your energy as you epxlore the fabulous delights of Sarlat. Visited twice while in Sarlat. The most amazing sweets. Great service and good either to sit in or get takeaway sweets. Not too expensive either. Sarlat is full of tourist trap, rip off restaurants of poor quality. If you want a bite to eat - you cannot do better than coming here. Delicious food, excellent friendly service and very reasonable prices, right in the centre of sarlat. Sandwich, drink and dessert for under 10 euro! Great stuff. Unexpectedly good! Very friendly service and great value for money. We had a small breakfast which came with fresh orange juice, excellent quality coffee, a yoghurt and two pastries of your choosing. Again… so fresh! Delicious! All for 8,50 eur! Go there! Really. Unfortunately the dessert “potatoe” wasn’t good. Too sugary, no taste except sugar and butter. The little nut dessert was very simple and fine. The waitress wasn’t very sympathetic and didn’t smile Citron meringue tart, positives was the citron, negatives pastry blond barely cooked. St Honore, soggy and fell apart when picked up. Felt like it had been sitting there for a day or two. A shame, cause if it was fresh I think it would have been good. Overall disappointing Excellent range of French pastries and amazing espresso.
