As for the concorde, it's to get so up close to one and, of course, the chance to step foot inside, and talking with Doug from the centre was very interesting, as he knows so much about it, a real pleasure. The here were all very friendly, and enthusiastic. Plentiful free parking and tasty food at the cafe. Excellent aero concentrating on of Filtons manufacture and design of everything to do with aircraft coming out of Bristol. Concorde registration G- BOAC has its final resting place here and is a wonderful exhibit that can be physically checked over. Book tickets cheaper online before turning up. Well worth a when in the area. We were there for 3hrs Lovely place to go to learn about aviation history. I especially enjoyed the Concord exhibition as we were able to walk through the plane and see what it's like inside. Very interesting. We went on 2 days. Monday & Wednesday and both days were so different. Monday the seemed so bored and not and Thursday everyone was and enthusiastic, volunteers chatted to us as we went around. The was nice Interesting place If you love concord it's a winner Decent disabled access. The concorde isn't accessible to wheel chairs or scooters as it is so narrow by design. My only complaint was the disgusting sticky child handprints on everything, we couldn't use some interactive parts as the touch screen was covered, also most of the glass. Not the odd finger print but full on dragged handprints. Brilliant visit. We organised a private as we knew of a collection of Aston Martin aviation edition cars being displayed. Not disappointed. This place has been on my 'bucket list' for quite some time. I traveled from New Zealand to - and ventured to Bristol for a day trip - from London. Well worth it, an extremely well kept and preserved example, the hangar is beautiful - offering many vantage points for photos. to be able to get up close to the nose - at nose level, and photograph. The people working here are passionate, share a love of aviation and Concorde. Highlight of the day was meeting and talking to the team of people - who are dedicated to Aerospace Bristol, who ensure an experience for the visitors. My first to the museum. Plenty of parking available on site. Lovely inside and tickets last all year which is as we are fairly local. The exhibits are fantastic, and the Concorde is of course the main attraction. We visited during half term and there were mini pedal planes for under 5s to drive under the Concorde. The has recently been updated and had a nice menu, colouring and books available for kids. The shop has a nice selection but isn’t overwhelming. There's a lot for all age groups, with interactive exhibits and so much to explore. You even get to go inside a real Concorde plane which I did not anticipate at all. The were enthusiastic and too. There's also a right beneath the Concorde. Definitely recommend. The Aerospace complex is an place, lots of history, lots of technical info, volunteers are knowledgable and very helpful. Tckets bought once are valid for 1 year, so we can come back and this place again, which is amazing. The complex is situated in ULEZ free area of Bristol which is the main important thing for us from the outside Bristol area. I do highly recommend it as a day trip with or without children. Incredible visit! Seeing the concorde in person and being able to go inside and see the cockpit and the cabin is quite something. I hadn't realised BA's concorde was kept this close to where I am, so was well worth when we realised it. There is plenty else at the as well, many other aircraft. are and informative including the volunteer who helped us twice including as we wanted onto the concorde to look inside and he spoke to us about how he saw flights of that planes years ago. Ticket also gets you a year pass to come back when you like. I love it here I can't get enough of going to see concorde. Seeing the Concorde, then going inside it was an absolutely experience. The were very and friendly. There's a - 'Flight Line' with seating area. There's also a gift shop. An outdoor playground with an aeroplane shaped ride for young children. Entry tickets are sold on site. Iconic is not a word that comes to mind easily, seeing iconic puts it into another jet stream. The last commercially flown Concorde ‘G-BOAF’ is stood in anticipation, at this Museum, cast your eyes over this spectacle of engineering and style. Stand face to face, walk underneath, behind and then enter Concorde… is an experience, everyone should explore. The whole is a must and an inspiring walk through aviation history. and memory made! Good day out with lots of interesting artifacts including the jewel in their crown The Concorde which was good to get up and personal with including a walk through. Tickets are valid for one year from purchase so you can revisit as many times as you wish. We bought our tickets online with a 10% discount but could have bought tickets at the door no problem. We visited during the summer holidays so it was busy but not hectic. There is lots to learn here and not just about the Concorde. The layout is easy to follow just by following the arrows on the ground when you get in, the volunteers are so lovely and - Barry & Cathy had some info and conversation. Definitely worth the visit. Lots of little touches dotted around the experience such as your ticket is an old style flight boarding pass. lots of learning and with Concorde being the star of the show. Just back from fantastic to Aerospace at Filton. Very informative, displays, and a quick bite to eat under Concorde - worth the on its own! Best of all, they have a CONCORD!! An experience if you find anything to do with planes interesting. Spent 3 hours there and could have done more but had another event to attend. There was an amount of in one place on how aerospace evolved over the years. If you find planes and their interested this is definitely one to go to! Highly recommmend it!
